That's absolutely terrifying D: I had no idea it could be that painful for some people.

It hurt the first time I had sex with a man, but actually losing my virginity didn't hurt at all

My first time was with an average sized guy. It didn't hurt and I didn't bleed.

The second time was with a big guy and it hurt a lot (but also felt incredibly good). His penis was completely covered with blood afterward.

I've always wondered about what happens in cultures where women are expected to bleed as proof of virginity on their wedding night. Clearly not everyone bleeds.

I was 17 when I lost my virginity, and it didn't hurt, it wasn't enjoyable, but I don't remember it hurting.

I was 17 or 18 and it hurt like hell. Surprising because i had penetrated myself and didn't have a hymen to break.

Oh man, that must not be fun. I hope one day it stops hurting for you, so you can start to ENJOY sex more. I know when I have any kind of discomfort or pain, it's hard to ENJOY sex with my husband.

Wow. All the time? Have you talked to a doctor? There are several things that can cause ongoing pain during PIV sex. Everything from an undiagnosed bacterial vaginosis, to an adherent clitoris to vaginismus. (In adherent clitoris, the clitoris has scar tissue that adheres it to the vulva, a short procedure can free it and stop the pain. Vaginisimus is an uncontrollable tightening of the vaginal muscles, that can sometimes make penetration impossible or difficult or simply cause pain every time you have sex. Bacterial Vaginosis can be myriad different infections of the vagina, that can cause excruciating pain, and some of these bacteria need to be INDIVIDUALLY looked for in specialized tests.

I have worked with OBGYNs, so painful intercourse is a common problem, and a solution can be found. You may want to call a University Teaching Hospital (even if it isn't all that close) and find a doctor who specializes in painful intercourse. I can assure you, that unless the problem is very easy to diagnose (in which case you would have been dxed by now) no Community Hospital is going to be able to really help. This is one of those things where you need the best, and Uni Teaching Hospitals with a good huge OBGYN department is your best bet.

I hope you will find out why you are in so much pain.

It was more of a discomfort than real pain. I bled a tiny bit on him and that was it. It wasn't all that fun and he didn't do anything to make it enjoyable for me. Definitely not a special experience. I love all the stories about people who are still with their "firsts". That is so great!

My wife did not hurt during her first time, which was with me. She was not sore either.

For my wife: she said it didn't hurt, and she certainly didn't react as if there was any pain. Not causing pain was a big thing for me, so I did research and made sure that I Went slow, she was very aroused, and there was plenty of lube.

For me it didn't hurt at all (it never does for the guys, right? Perhaps we'd be more careful if it did. Didn't even hurt my first time with anal play (though that was with fingers/toys, even though we worked up to a "full-sized" dildo).

My wife didn't bleed and she wasn't sore. I think we were both kinda disappointed really during our first time. I think she thought there would be more to it than that (we waited until we got married) and that is partially why I feel that I am smaller than her 'ideal' size. I think I was hoping for some kind of special reaction from her. But that's alright, marriage is not about the sex after all...

Yes and No. He tried to push in but it hurt too much so we stopped. Next day we prepared more and he was able to slide in with no pain or bleeding. It just got more fun from there.

Also, there's a bunch of different kinds of virginity

When my hymen was broken there was a lot of pain because it was a forceful situation. I bled a lot and was really sore for a few days afterward. When I had sex for the first time it was more the feeling of stretching and being filled not really painful. Still I was sore the next morning or two.

I lost my virginity to my husband. The day after we got married. We didn't have sex on our wedding night since we didn't have any condoms. We didn't have a car so we could not go and buy some. So instead he stuck his fingers in my pussy and played around that way. The next morning when we were eating breakfast at the hotel I kept squirming in my chair. I was in major pain. All though it was a good pain. It didn't hurt when he had his fingers in my pussy or that night either. Weird it didn't start hurting until the next morning.

After we went back home we were able to get some condoms on the way home. Then we had sex which was awesome.

I'm pretty sure that I had broken my heiman before I had intercourse for the first time, because it didn't hurt at all. It wasn't great, but it didn't hurt.

I'll admit to it hurting the first time but after that it didn't hurt. I know some people hurt more after the first time but I didn't.

It hurt a lot for me. My ex boyfriend was a moron and kept insisting if he just shoved it in really fast, it wouldn't hurt, so I'd just get up and put my clothes on. I know that would hurt a lot worse. It hurt the first time, with no blood that I noticed, though it did not hurt the next few times. Every now and then it hurts a bit if my boyfriend and I have not had sex in a while, though it's only for a few seconds.
