It didn't hurt. It just felt different than anything else I had done with my boyfriend up until that point. He had more experience than me, so he went very slow with me, which helped I did masturbate with things inserted into my body prior to that though, which may have helped.

It was a little uncomfortable, and I spent a significant amount of my first time mentally digesting the fact that it wasn't as mindblowing as I had expected it to be.
