Ever heard of ghost limbs? People get amputated but they can still somehow feel the limb that is gone.

I have never had a penis (in this lifetime) but when I get aroused I feel sensations that penis I don't have. If I focus on it its like I can feel it erecting it's self.

Has anyone else felt this sensation?

As a trans* person, I get this a lot! It really sucks to look down and not have that "invisible limb" in reality.

To be honest, I think I mainly experienced this because of how much I've read. I often feel like I can imagine something in great detail despite not having first hand experience with it. I could always imagine exactly what a penis was like down to the last minute detail because of all the books I read long before I had any first hand experience.

Never had a feeling of a penis, but hey that sounds cool, always wondered what it be like if I had one. But I do have a couple things on my body that are gone (tooth and a extra toe) that sometimes feels like they're still there.

I've heard about amputees and lost limbs but I've never heard of an invisible penis as you call it. It is extremely interesting though.

I have heard of it. The medical term is called "phantom limb." I read a book about this over the summer.
The reason for this can be explained by the diagram of the Cortical Homunculus which is essentially various body parts mapped on to certain portions of the somatosensory cortex in the brain.

It helps to explain the pleasure that people feel in their feet when they orgasm or people who can orgasm just by having their toes sucked on etc. etc. It helps to explain stimulation we feel in a limb that isn't there. Sometimes the cortical homunculus has neuronal pathways that crisscross which cause the variability in the kind of stimulation we prefer from person to person. So although the map is very accurate, the maps can be slightly different from person to person, especially for anyone who has experienced injuries or amputation.

I've heard about amputated limbs..... but never for parts you haven't had... Any chance its your clit your feeling?
