There are many people who feel it for parts they've never had. Hence what I mentioned further up about the cortical homunculus. It is because of amputees that we know people who have not experienced amputation can also experience similar sensations/

I've never experienced that myself, but I do get what you mean. I suppose when I have a strapon on, I get that feeling a bit, but not TOO much really,.

Very interesting! I've had "ghost vagina" feelings but put it down to an overactive imagination. Interesting to know that other people have had similar experiences.

Okay, I have never had this happen, but let me put on the medical hat for a moment. Developmentally, woman and men are the SAME. No kidding. Our organs are WIRED THE SAME, but the genetic blueprint puts the parts together different. Thus, a clitoris is really the neurological analog to the penis. Your brain is thus processing very much the same signal be you a man or woman. Since you know what a penis looks like and erects like, you are projecting that "feeling" from your clitoral erection (a tiny penis) into a bigger one. There is no "past life" stuff going on here...this is pure, predicable and logical neurophysiology in action.

Hey, medical science can indeed "build you one".

Oh, you surprise me with this answer. You are the one who usually jumps in with the sound, and scientific medical answer. I got one over on you this time. Ha, ha. Still love your brilliant answers.

Actually, the the penis is the anatomical analog to the clitoris (or rather the whole vagina). In utero, the default gender is female until certain (male) hormones are released. Hence, me making this particular correction.

My earlier post (on page 1) references the neurological bit, which is explained by the cortical homunculus. There is proof for this based on brain scans done stimulating certain parts of the body to see what parts of the brain light up.

And hey, what's wrong with "past life" beliefs?
