What method of Birth Control do you use?

Right now, just condoms because I am not in a relationship with anyone that can get me pregnant. However, just to be safe, we use condoms vaginally. If I was in a situation where I was with a guy and having vaginal penetrative sex more often, I would go on birth control

BC pills- I really should think about getting an IUD since it would save me a ton of money! I have spent around $1,500 on the pill over the past 5 years.

I just got the implant last week. The weirdness of getting a tiny foreign object in your arm is totally worth three years!!

We used condoms mostly, and Vaginal Contraceptive Film, which is awesome.

I got the implant just under a year ago...

It's fantastic! I had a few problems in the beginning with unpredictable bleeding...2 weeks on, 2 weeks off sort of thing, but I gave it time to settle (it didn't), and then went to my doctor.

She put me on a 3-month course of pills...I had a one-week withdrawal bleed when I stopped them, and I've had no periods ever since!
I've had a few mood swings, and a little weight gain, but honestly for me it's worth it for 3 years of highly effective birth control that I don't have to worry about remembering each day/week/month.

When this one expires, I'll be considering an IUD or another implant. I really like the long-term options.

Well unless you are in a monogamous relationship and you've both been tested, you should use condoms regardless, as I'm sure other people have mentioned. I use both condoms and bc pulls because that is what I can afford right now with student health insurance. I have been considering an IUD though.

I am currently on Depo but am considering switching to a diaphragm soon because depo is giving me weird symptoms. My cousin had the implanon implant and had it removed within four months because it gave her extreme headaches and made her so moody she would scream at her newborn son. I was thinking about getting it but not after seeing her experience.
