I feel as though I have an abnormally small clitoris. It's seriously about 2mm in size and I barely have a hood too. I also have extremely short inner labia and fat outer labia. Does size vary this much? Most of the pictures I've seen on the everyday bodies project and other places look nothing like mine. I feel like maybe I'm underdeveloped since I do have some health issues and have been on meds since 13. I also don't have a lot of sensation there too. Does size of the clitoris contribute to sensitivity?

Are there ways to increase the size without taking testosterone? I am comfortable being female and not looking to transition, I'm just disappointed in my bits. It's been hard for partners to find it even though they know where they're usually supposed to be and even I have trouble finding it sometimes.

Mine is fairly small AND almost totally hooded (it pretty much never "pops out"). But it's super sensitive and I prefer vibrations through the hood, or along the (internal) shaft.

Seriously, everyone is different and often the "pictures" used in clinical settings are sort of chose as a "base model", and yours will vary (sometimes a lot). It seems to me that many people with smaller clitori often have too much sensation (there are about the same number of nerves packed into everyone's clitoris, no matter the size). Perhaps you just haven't found the right kind of stimulation? For a long time, I couldn't let anyone near mine because it got so painful for anyone to touch it, and yes oral stimulation did nothing, either. Finally, I found the right kind!

I know there are clitoral pumps, like penis pumps, but I have no experience with them. I'm not sure, but I doubt they increase the size permanently. Otherwise, aside from hormonal therapy, I don't think there is a way to increase the size, especially not surgically.

Don't be so hard on yourself! I'd tell you to ask your doctor, but given my track record of having doctors tell me really horrible stuff about my own bits, I just can't give you that advice in good faith.

When it's not been stimulated, mine's about half the size of a pea. I don't think there's a "right" size. God made all clitorises perfectly. He knew what he was doing. IMO there's not a "right" or "wrong" or "abnormal" (whoa that's a lotta quotes! lol) sized anything when it comes to the outside of anybody's body.

To temporarily increase size and sensation, you can try clitoris pumps. They work the same way for anyone: decrease air pressure by suction/vacuum-effect and therefore enlarge the blood vessels to stimulate more blood flow into the pumped areas. When you remove the pump the tissue usually goes back to its original state, but there is a short period where you will experience heightened sensitivity (the period of time is different for individuals).
