If it weren't for him, though, I probably wouldn't. I guess those simply aren't my interests. I can give you a tour of the statues in the park, can find Bethesda Fountain with my eyes closed, know the Temple of Dendur at the Met better than my own living room, and tour the Guggenheim frequently. And of course, I shop. Maybe it's just a perspective thing? I'm sure there are some people that would visit all the tall buildings and historic landmarks and never set foot in the places I think are important.
