Oh, I just remembered! I did get a Today Sponge stuck inside me. I didn't "forget" it. I couldn't get it out! I was so embarrassed, I didn't go to my doctor. I went to an emergency center and they took it out (it had broken into pieces) with a ring forceps. I was scared to death. I called the Today number and they reimbursed me for the office visit.

It happened a second time, but I had had a baby by then. I called the number on the box and they told me to push like I was in labor. I pushed the damn thing out, but I never used them again. I swore I'd never use them again after the first time I got one stuck, but I was so nervous about getting pregnant after my first baby was born, that I tried it one more time.

I guess My Man was "Sponge Worthy."

I did this. I came home drunk and forgot about it until afterwards. Luckily, the string was still accessible so I was able to retrieve it no problem, but I am surprised my boyfriend didn't notice the string and alert me to the problem before we started. Needless to say, I no longer wear tampons when I am going to be drinking.

I had a bit much to drink and was getting firsky with my husband. I had ordered benwa balls and read some reviews where woman had them in during sex. I had just gotten them and they weren't much help muscle wise because I was so tight they just stayed secured. I put them in as a surprise.

The next day I was having cramps and figured it was from drinking or rough sex. When I went to pee I heard a noise and looked into see a gold ball and remembered I had put them in. The second one was so annoying to get out.

I know this is an old post but i had to share . I have and love the luna pleasure bead system . After a few hours of doing house work and what not I fell asleep reading . OMG pulling them out after an hour or two nap was a bit painful and I was sore for days . But I did learn my lesson .

I actually never thought it was possible to do that until several years ago I had used a tampon and forgot it was there and later on I tried putting another one there! I kept wondering why it wouldn't work and then I realized there was already one in! That sounds lame and dumb, but it has happened more than once! Only a few times though. I thankfully, take meds that stop periods so I don't have to worry about that anymore lol.

That's the only time I've ever done it though. Usually I can tell when something is inside. I don't know about anally though because I've never put anything in my booty.

I've never forgotten anything inside me, I can feel everything. I'm one of those people who hate tampons, too, so if I HAVE to use one, I take it out ASAP.

I won't say who (she'd be very embarrassed if I did), but a friend of mine once left a tampon in for a few weeks. She finally went to the gynecologist to see if she had a bad infection that was causing the smell - that's when the tampon finally came out. Thankfully (and VERY luckily) she didn't have any serious infection.

I myself can always feel a tampon, so I only use them when I sleep and have never forgotten to take one out. Thank goodness for that!

I have forgotten my sea sponge tampon a few times but never more than a few hours, usually on those light days at the end of my period. Thankfully there isn't a huge risk with them and it slides out fairly easily.

Oh, lucky you. A lot of times my labia will get tangled up in the handle (TMI, sorry gals!) and so even though I can't feel the part that's inside me, I'll know it's in!
