I clean them after I first get them, and then after each use. If I have a toy that attracts lint I'll rinse it off before using also.

I try to remember before and after but usually it's just after. Live with my mom sometimes I don't even get to wash it in the sink for fear she's going to find out so sometimes I can only use wipes and then clean it later.
