I usually purchase my own. Know what I want and simply get it. Easier to just tell hubby how much I put on the credit card lol

A gift would be just as nice though (my sister is prone to buying gags that turned out as great toys) and it would be kinda kinky sexy if from hubby but I highly doubt he'd buy any without me there.

I like to self purchase with some guidance from the wife, since the last time I purchased sex toys without her she was not cool with what I got. However, it would be very cool if my wife purchased something as a surprise, especially if it was a new kind of toy for us.

I don't want to come off like a control freak or something, but I definitely want to pick out my own. I guess you could say I'm picky, because I like to do a lot of research, read a lot of reviews, and mull it over for quite a while, especially because most of my toys are pretty pricey! I can see why it could be very sexy to get a surprise toy from my hubby, but I can't say for sure if the sexiness aspect would overtake my thoughts about how much it cost or if I could have found anything better. Yeah, I guess I actually am a bit controlling when it comes to my toys lol

I mostly prefer to buy my own because I like doing the research first but a toy as a gift is always nice too. My ex boyfriend gave me a couple toys as gifts and They weren't anything that I would have bought for myself but I loved them! It allowed me to try something that I normally wouldn't.

Where is the infamous 'Other'. My wife has never purchased a toy for her or me, they have all been gifts from me.

I have actually never bought a toy specifically for myself - but I do use some of my wife's older smaller toys.

I would love to get a gift - it would indicate an active involvement in the process instead of the current passive-acceptance role she plays.
