Both, actually. I like buying my own, but I also like it when my man buys them for me. He would never just pick one on his own though (he wants to get one that I feel pretty sure will work well for me/my anatomy/etc.), we just look together, I'll point some out or put them on my wishlist, and then *surprise* a package comes in the mail. LOL

I can be very picky about what toys I buy and usually do a lot of research beforehand, so unless it's from my husband and he buys me something that I already wanted then I would always rather buy them myself.

I'd rather purchase them on my own. I have received toys as gifts before, but they were off of my wishlist, so in essence, I did pick them out myself.

I normally buy my own, so it's not a big thing. The few my man has picked and bought for me though, are cherished. Instant favorite toy, simply for sentimental reasons.

Depends. If it's one I specifically asked for, such as on my wishlist, I'd LOVE getting it as a gift! If people buy them randomly though it might not be a good fit for me.
