Great addition to a party!
Overall, a great game for a night in with new or old friends. What you find out about others will definitely be a conversation piece that will last all night.

I have played "Never Have I Ever" before but the board game takes the guess work, and long pauses, out of coming up with new statements every time the game is played. Not only that, the board game adds excitement with 'consequences', to the things that you have done, beyond just taking a drink.
For those that are unfamiliar with "Never Have I Ever", each player takes turns responding to a "never have I ever" statement. For example; "never have I ever had sex outside". If you have you drink, but in the case of this game you may end up drinking, singing your favorite song, imitating one of your friends, or hopping on one foot for thirty seconds.
On top of responding to very interesting statements, the object of the game is to get to the end of the board first, which adds another dynamic to the game and makes it into a competition. Each player takes turns rolling the dice, and trying to make their way around the board. Along the way "I've nevers" are read, dares are completed, and secrets are revealed.
This game is a perfect ice breaker at a party, and getting the scoop on all of your friend's dirt. It's amusing to watch players try to sneak and complete the consequences, without someone noticing, in order avoid admitting to their secret. And depending on your company, you may be asked to elaborate which also makes for very interesting conversation. With this game you will learn so much about new and old friends... even some things you probably could have lived without.
