This is an excellent toy, for both vaginal and anal use. So far my wife and I have only used it for vaginal play, and that is where it is going to stay. This decision has nothing to do with the safety of the toy, but the fact that my wife and I don't enjoy anal play. Even though it does not have a flared neck or base anywhere along it, I believe it would be safe for anal play as long as you or your partner had a good grip on the other end, and you didn't get that end covered in lube. With the bulbs on one end, along with the curve, it should make for excellent g-spot stimulation. It also works great for warming my wife up for larger toys, since the toy is so smooth, I can rub it on the outside of her lips before inserting.

On Eden, you really don't have a choice as to what wood you receive, but going to his website, you are shown 11 different wood options. Not that every toy is offered in every wood, but cherry is the most popular, some of the woods offer quite a few toys, and some woods offer just one toy. The total list of woods are apple, ash, cherry, Haitian oak, hornbeam, mahogany, maple, pau rosa, walnut, white oak and ziracote. After he obtains his wood from scraps from other projects, he uses a bandsaw to start the shape, then uses a small angle grinder, and finishes with sanding the toy. After that, he finishes the toy off with at least 5 coats of a food grade varnish called salad bowl finish. The wood is also safe for any type of lubricant you want to use; water, silicone, oil, or natural.

The dildo we received is made out of mahogany, per the small tag that was attached to the pouch. It is a lovely deep brown, and is very smooth and extremely light. Compared to the Pure Wand, it is a feather. Even compared to a normal dildo, say the Vixskin Goodfella, this is still extremely light.

The bulbs along with the curve of the toy seems to take the bulbs right up to the g-spot quite easily once the bulbs are inserted. It is extremely light, so if you or your partner is stubborn or takes awhile to orgasm, your arm should not tire out with this guy. You could even flip the toy around and use the handle as a smooth dildo, but we have yet to try that.

According to the manufacture's website, you can clean with mild soap and water, then dry off before storage. He says in practice you could just wipe dry after use, but I would prefer to use soap, and it takes no time at all to clean. You should use condoms if sharing between partners or orifices, and never, ever, even remotely think about boiling or placing the toy in the dishwasher.

The dildo came in a nice purple draw-string pouch, and attached to the string was the label identifying the wood and model dildo. Nothing else was included, and only the very small piece of paper needs to be recycled. The pouch is great for storage, just large enough for the dildo without squeezing it in, and the string keeps the bag closed nicely.

The first time we used the dildo, my wife didn't really enjoy it. It didn't hurt her, but it was just blah. A few months later, I remembered about this toy, and we pulled it out again. Once we found the proper angle for her, it was an earth shattering, extremely wonderful orgasm. For her, the perfect position for it to be used was with the bulbs all the way inserted, with her on her back, and the handle part coming out at about a 45 degree angle. Then with small thrusts, it gave her the wonderful orgasm. It was also great, since it was so light and wanted to stay in place, I could easily thrust with my right hand, then kiss her and play with her breasts with my left.

It was also quite entertaining, because after she orgasmed, I let go of the dildo while it was still in her. It then appeared to be a wooden erect penis sticking out of her. With strong enough kegels, another person could probably even suck on it.
