My boyfriend and I really like experimenting with anal, but have yet been able to find a toy that will stay in place during intercourse. So one day I came across the "Plug of Lust" while perusing my options on Eden. It looked pretty ingenious. Not only did it have a rim to stop it from going in too far, but it also had a handle for easy removal when finished. I thought for sure this was the toy we had been looking for.

When the plug finally arrived; we were all ready to give it a go. It definitely was a different experience. The "Plug of Lust" has a unique teardrop design which is kind of awkward going in because of the buldge in the middle. The plug definately works, but only during foreplay. It isn't able to handle the thrusts of love making.

The toy only has an insetable length of three inches. I'm assuming it's not long enough to use during intercourse because it always pushes out. The diameter at thickest is 1 1/2" so if your new to the anal scene, I'm just giving you a heads up. The handle is nice though and everything is made of silicone; which is a very safe material. I would also be inclined to say that this toy may be only good for anal, but can be used in different situations. For instance, in water or even under your clothes because the handle folds and won't be in the way.


Being made of silicone the plug has a nice soft texture and is quite comfortable. Also, if you like lube, make sure it's water-based so it doesn't leave the toy sticky. As for cleaning it, you can simply boil it or wipe it down with a mixture of 10% bleach and 90% water.

My boyfriend and I liked the toy overall, but was not what we were looking for.

This toy is getting to be okay the more we use it, but still isn't any good for use during intercourse.
