Size may not be everything but for a plug advertised as a large I was expecting something quite a bit bigger than what I received. I even had to double check the packaging a couple times just to make sure I hadn't received a small or a medium. At its widest point it's only 1.5" wide and there's only 3" of length to be inserted.

With that being said the shape of this plug is simple yet incredibly usable compared to others. The taper is unlike most in that it starts off very small and rounded to make the initial entry easy then smoothly transitions into a more bulbous body. This not only allows for it to slide in easy, but also lets it stay locked in place very well for its size. At first I had horrors of the ring on the end used to pull it out breaking but it does seem to be quite strong and I haven't had any problems. I really do enjoy the shape and it makes me think a larger version of this would be perfect for myself.

The plug of lust is pure silicone, one of the best and safest materials that toys can possibly use. This allows it to be boiled clean, be completely inert to your body as well as not harbor bacteria. There is no smell or taste (yes I actually tasted it before I used it at all). It appears that they used a much harder silicone than most other toys that I've used. I do like that since it seemed to have made it less grippy when going in and thus doesn't require very much lube. Remember not to use silicone based lube with this toy but rather use a water based lube so that you don't harm it.

I would and have recommended this to friends. It would be great for someone's first butt plug yet can still be enjoyed by more experienced users. This will forever have a spot in my toy collection and since it's silicone, it should last forever too.
