The Restrainer for Your Tight Lust Chamber!

Orion's Plug of Lust Large is an anal plug, and as such is meant to be used anally. It can be used by people of any gender, either solo or - conceivably - with a partner. I do not think this plug is very good for partner play, as it is not harness compatible, is too short for thrusting, and isn't big enough to really "torture" a sub with. As it's not very large and won't show up in a metal detector, I believe it is appropriate for travel.

This toy is best suited for those with low-to-moderate experience with anal play. Advanced users will likely be disappointed by its average girth and shortness, and absolute beginners would probably be better off with something a bit narrower. It would be a good choice for a beginner who wants to train his or her body to take larger plugs. This toy is appropriate for moderate long term wear: it is comfortable while sitting, standing, and walking, and the "bulb" is wide enough that accidental slipping isn't likely.

The Plug of Lust is made from 100% silicone, which rates a perfect ten on the EdenFantasys Material Safety Scale. It is extremely easy to clean, waterproof, holds temperature well, and can be completely sanitized (making it safe to share between partners). To clean the plug you can boil it, wash it in a 10% bleach solution, use a toy cleaning solution, or hand-wash it wit antibacterial soap and hot water.

There is no texture to this toy, and it is a bit firmer than other silicone plugs I own. It is also less of a lint-magnet, and it's matte rather than shiny. As with all silicone toys, it has a bit of drag, so you'll definitely want to use lubricant with it. As silicone toys are not compatible with silicone-based lube, water-based lube is the best choice. Keep in mind that water-based lubricant dries more quickly than silicone-based lubricant, so you'll want to reapply it often - it's no fun removing a dry plug!

The Plug of Lust's design is very user-friendly. Its tip is very narrow, which allows for more comfortable insertion despite the firmness of the plug as it nears its base. The base features a stretchy ring which you can use to remove the plug after use, and while I was worried that it would break it has held up very nicely so far. It also squishes down easily if you sit down while wearing the plug, and it is not at all irritating or distracting.



While this plug is labeled "large", it's actually pretty average. The whole toy is less than 5" in length (including the retrieval loop) and at its widest point the plug is only 1.5" wide. One reason that I think this toy would be good for beginners is that while it has no texture, its shape provides a nice "pop" when it is removed, which would be a new sensation for someone who is only used to straight, narrow plugs.

The one thing that I really don't like about the Plug of Lust is its color. It's a milky-white, and it looks horrible after use if you don't completely clean yourself out before you insert it. While any toy can come out with some muck on it, the color of this toy really highlights any residue left on its surface. I can't imagine why someone would think a white butt plug would be a good idea; it's so unappealing, and the lack of color and pattern makes it look drab in compared to the other bright toys I own.

The shape of this toy is definitely my favorite feature. The combination of the thin tip and round bulb is just perfect for me, and the ring is a good feature as well. For something with "Large" in the product name I was definitely expecting something a bit bigger, but it still gives a great "pop" sensation when you pull it out. As I said before, keep in mind that this is not a good toy for prostate stimulation, as it is just too short to reach most men's P-spots. I also want to add that while some other reviews mentioned that their plugs had large, noticeable seams, my plug had a very small seem that I did not detect during use. This may vary from plug to plug, so keep that in mind when you order.

Silicone is very easy to take care of. As I mentioned in the 'Material' section, cleaning is a breeze, and you should only use water-based lubricants when using this plug. You should store it out of contact with other silicone toys, and may wish to purchase a toy bag or wrap it in cloth to ensure its safety - I keep mine inside a clean sock in my Lockable Sex Toy Case.

The Plug of Lust's packaging is mostly in German, and does not offer much information about the toy inside. It is basic clamshell packaging with a cardboard insert, and is larger than the toy itself to an extent where I would not suggest storing the toy inside its packaging. The front of the cardboard insert is definitely not discreet. It features a naked blonde woman photographed from behind, complete with one butt cheek visible, gazing down at the plug. The back of the insert has a blurb on the about how the plug is made from high-quality silicone.



There's also a rhyme on the front of the insert that I think is supposed to be the product's catch phrase. Call me immature, but I couldn't stop giggling when I first saw it!

While I love the shape of this toy, my partner and I rarely use it because we dislike the color so much. In addition, due to the difference in texture and firmness from our other silicone plugs, my partner strongly suspects that this toy is not pure silicone. I'm too chicken to flame-test it (I don't want to ruin the plug if it's really impure), so I don't know for sure, but for now I just take extra care not to bring it into contact with my other silicone toys. Despite the color, this is my favorite plug for wearing around the house (but not for during intercourse). It's very comfortable and the base is excellent for hassle-free removal, and as I dislike long anal toys the Plug of Lust is great for me.
