Silicone X-10 beads - beads discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Devy

These beads are primarily made for anal play. Really, they could be used vaginally as well if you like this type of texture. They won't easily get lost inside of you, so however you choose to use it, you'll certainly enjoy them!

These beads are made out of TPR Silicone. According to the materials list on the site this means that they are a "Silicone-based rubber compound". You will want to use only water-based lubricants with this toy; especially avoid silicone lubes and letting this toy coming into contact with other silicone toys.

The beads themselves are fairly smooth. There were some seams on the side all the way down on mine but they didn't cut me at any point or hurt. I didn't notice the seams at all while inserted; they were only visible. I chose the red beads for my review, but I also own purple.

The beads come designed like a "string" in a way. You have a round handle on one end and the beads taper from that handle from large to small, 10 bumps in all. The insertable end is, of course, the smallest bump and very easy to insert with your favorite lube. These are fantastic for beginners because of the size, but fun for those with experience in anal play as well. The whole "string" of beads is about a foot long in total but 2 inches of that is not to be inserted. The handle is to make sure that the beads don't get lost where they aren't meant to!

This toy works very well for those starting out with anal play because they're not too terribly large, but they're still fun to use for those with experience. I don't use them to completely get off but I love using them before moving on to my larger toys. The best feature in my opinion is simply the fact that you can easily insert them and take them just about anywhere. Ladies can fit them in your purse and guys, you may be able to ball it up a little and fit it in your pockets! I can keep mine in my hoodie pocket if I need to without any problems at all!

The only thing I don't like about this toy is that it comes in only 1 size and that doesn't provide a lot of "girth." So if you like wider toys, this may not be the toy to get you off! It certainly is great for foreplay though.

These beads are easily cleaned with warm water and antibacterial soap. They can not be sterilized but they're super easy to clean off. I occasionally use toy wipes to clean mine off, as well. I store mine in a freezer bag so that they do not touch any of my other silicone toys, and to keep them clean. I do give them a quick rinse before use and clean them well afterwards.

If you are allergic to latex, don't worry because they are latex-free. A lot of people also worry about those Phthalates you hear so much about - there are none of those in this product, either! They're hypo-allergenic as well, so no allergy concerns!

My boyfriend loves using these on me before moving on to larger toys, and I've enjoyed using these on him, as well! I got my pair as a gift about a year and a half ago, and so far they are still in great working order! I bought him the purple ones and loved the color, so got myself a pair as well! These beads are great!
