Good Beginner Anal Beads

These anal beads are a great deal for the price, with a design and flexibility that is friendly for beginners and advanced users alike. Be aware that this toy is made of a silicone and rubber compound, so those who either do not or cannot use rubber ought to continue their search elsewhere.

Use

These TPR silicone anal beads are designed with anal play in mind, whether one is a beginner or more advanced in the anal department. This stretchy and flexible strand of 10 beads in gradual increasing sizes are inserted into the anus one by one, with each one slightly bigger than the last. Water-based lube is an absolute must with this toy; without it, the beads will not go in smoothly or comfortably. There is also a large ring-shaped handle at the end that not only keeps it from going past the point of no return, but also gives one the option to experiment with the sensation of pushing and pulling the beads.

Material / Texture

Despite the product description, these beads are not made out of pure silicone. Rather, it is made of TPR silicone, or "CyberSilicone", which is a silicone-based rubber compound that ranks as a 6 on the material safety scale as opposed to pure silicone's rating of 10. The TPR silicone material of these beads is extremely stretchy, as in they can be flung across the room if stretched back far enough. I found this out on accident, so please do not try this at home. Each bead has enough give to be squeezed a bit by a pair of fingers. The texture is smooth and beginner-friendly. Although mine in particular might have had a bit of trouble in the mold, since there is a bit of a swirl design on one of the beads. For those sensitive to smell, there is a very slight odor, but nothing that would detract from the experience.

Design / Shape / Size

The strand of beads is 12.5 inches long from tip to handle, with about 10.25 inches that can be inserted. There are ten spherical beads that gradually increase in size. The first bead at the tip is about 1 inch in circumference and the last one is about 3 inches in circumference. Between each bead is about a half inch of space, which serves well for beginners or advanced user who wish to move at their own pace.

Performance

With a lot of water-based lube, these beads do their job without a hitch. Each bead slides in easily if one's anus is properly prepared. The stretching sensation with every size increase is subtle but noticeable. The ring handle at the end is about 2 inches in diameter and about half an inch thick. Vulva owners might feel the ring handle go a bit past the perineum and into vagina territory since the handle does have a tendency to line up inside the crack of one's behind. So be careful when using this toy in conjunction with any means of vaginal penetration. Since these beads are so stretchy and flexible, take care when pulling the beads out so they do not swing towards the vulva or one's own face.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is fairly low-maintenance. Thanks to its TPR silicone composition, it can be boiled for easy sanitation. However, the beads should be rinsed with running water first in order to wash out anything stuck in the spaces between each bead. The toy's flexibility makes cleaning much simpler for two reasons; it can be stretched out to clean the spaces between the beads much more easily, and it can fit in a small pot or alongside other toys to be boiled in water with no problem.

Follow-up commentary
The silicone is a lie.

At least it would seem that way after I have tried to sanitize these anal beads via boiling. I put these beads in a metal pot along with a small pure silicone toy and a larger glass toy. I had boiled some water in an electric kettle, which I poured slowly over the toys, after which I turned the stove on low to maintain the boil. I allowed the toys to sit for about 5-7 minutes, using the glass toy to weigh the narrow end of the beads down so the entire strand didn't float.

I retrieved the silicone toy first using metal utensils; it came out piping hot and in perfect shape. However, when I tried to get the anal beads out, I fished it out by the handle and the edge of the utensil made a nick in the handle. It was then that I noticed the original seam on the handle was almost completely separated, and it only took a small tug to break it. I squeezed the uppermost bead and it remained squished. Then I looked at the bottom beads; they had been flattened and deformed by the glass toy. On top of all of this, the material was releasing an unpleasant rubbery odor. It is understandable, then, when I inform you that these beads have found a home in the trash.

Long story short, do NOT boil these beads.
