Ophoria Rapture #6 - beads discontinued by Lover's Choice Inc. - review by Sexy Lexi

The Ophoria Rapture #6 is a silicone reincarnation of the "love beads" of past decades. It is, in short, a length of silicone with "beads" that increase in size up the length of the toy. The toy is pretty simple to use, and is very well constructed with no hard ridges or huge leaps in size, with the gaps in between the "beads" gentle and forgiving. As a nice touch, the Ophoria Rapture has a nice ring on the end for ensuring you don't "lose" the beads, and to allow for easy removal.

The material that this Rapture is constructed from is 100% silicone: odorless, tasteless, and completely phthalates-free. The toy is entire constructed of this wonderful material, though it is very soft and whippy (which surprised me at first). The toy is smooth and velvety, almost powder soft, with no seams to be seen. The material will bend and turn every which way, so there is little fear of the toy poking something it shouldn't, or tearing the delicate tissues of the rectum. Ultimately, it is excellently constructed.

The Rapture is a whopping ten inches long, with approximately eight inches of insertable length. The very first bead actually starts out so teeny-tiny, and given how squishy-bendy the toy itself is, that I honestly wondered how I was going to get it in my butt the first time I tried it. I was expecting harsh step-ups with each bead, and I was so unsure about this toy because of how sensitive I am regarding my rear. I was also concerned about the length, having never had something that far up my butt before. The Rapture was excellent in both arenas. The increase in size from bead to bead transitions very smoothly, and the length never bothered me once. The biggest "bead" of the toy is not that big at all, and makes for an excellent toy for those who are new to butt-play. It cleans up easily and can tuck away into a pocket in your luggage for easy travel because of it's super-bendy capabilities.

I was not expecting much from this toy, because of it's simplicity and inherent physical removal from my clit. I'm also so sensitive regarding my ass that anything that comes near it is assumed to be non-pleasurable. This toy was actually really fun to work with. Pulling it in and out was very pleasurable, and the transition is smooth enough to relax you and enjoy. I found nothing wrong with this toy at all, which surprised skeptical me.

Like most silicone toys, all this toy needs is a quick lather with some mild soap and water, and it comes clean easily. There are no crevices for bodily matter to collect in, which is awesome for cleaning. It might be prudent to store this in a polyester or satin bag to keep linties off of it, because the velvety surface catches lint fairly easily. As it is made of silicone, remember to only use this baby with water-based lube, as silicone lube and silicone toys don't play nicely and may even ruin your beautiful new toy!

The toy can in a box with a broad window to look at the toy. I really enjoyed the the box was without the *seemingly) obligatory porn star on the front. It looked very professional! The toy itself was encased in plastic, but the plastic shell pops right open, so no fighting with the clam shell packaging! It came with some instructions in multiple languages, and a brief preview of the company's other toys. The box it came in would probably not make a good storage box, however, purely because the clam shell won't stay closed, and the box it comes in has a large open "window" on the front. It would be best to get a little silky bag for this.

I was pleasantly surprised by this toy. I really found no issues with this toy at all. It has no seams, it's easy to clean, the beads transition well, and the ring on the end is good for pulling, pushing, and preventing the toy from slipping inside the body. The toy is made from non-dangerous materials, and could theoretically travel well. An all around great toy!
