Ophoria Rapture #6 - anal beads by Lover's Choice Inc. - review by Nefarius

When I first encountered this toy, my immediate reaction was that the size would be too small for somebody with such anal experience as myself. But I quickly found out that it's not just the size that makes this toy amazing. The best way to use this toy is to tug a little on it after it's fully inserted, letting the biggest bead slip out, and then pushing it back in. I find that sensation, mixed with the considerable, but non-painful length was just perfect, and it drove me into euphoria! It's smooth texture makes this sort of 'thrusting' of the toy very easy, despite the fact that it is not very rigid.

I think this toy is perfect for both male and female anal play. I've used it on myself and also on my husband in the same manner, and he absolutely loved it.

I especially love the strong silicone handle, as the whole thing gets pretty slippery when covered with lube, but the handle makes it very easy to control. The handle also makes the toy very safe for long-term play, because you can put it in and leave it in, and not worry about it slipping in too far.

Also, while not moving it in and out teasingly, it serves as a nice sensation while left inside during vaginal penetration. My partner could feel the ridges slightly while he was penetrating me; it was an added sensation we both enjoyed.

The Rapture #6 is made of silicone. It doesn't smell of anything at all, and it feels very silky to the touch. When lubed up, the Rapture is very slippery. I feel that it has just the right amount of firmness for a chain of anal beads. It is slightly pliable, but not so much so that it's awkward to insert. The best part about it is that the handle, which acts also as a safely flared base, is very flexible, and therefore doesn't get in the way when performing vaginal intercourse in a variety of positions.

I absolutely adore the design and shape of the Rapture #6. The beads are all tapered at each end, which makes them very easy to insert and pop out, but they're just bulbous enough that they stay put when you want them to! I like the size now that I've used the toy, although my first impression of the size was that it would be a bit too small for me. I think the only thing I would change about it is maybe that it would be available in larger diameter for those who prefer it. However, after using it I think that it's a good general toy for both beginners and experts alike, having used it on both.

I really appreciate that the toy is flexible enough that it's length isn't overwhelming. Sometimes rigid toys that aren't tapered at the tip can be quite painful for me, however the combination of the pliable silicone, and the fact that it's so tiny at the tip makes inserting the entire length very comfortable.

The handle's design looks almost like a beer bottle opener, and I find that extra detail makes it easier to hold on to. Because it's so thin, this is a toy perfectly suited for walking around in public with, as it doesn't have a huge flared base to be uncomfortable during daily activities. It's also safe to walk around with because the handle will prevent it from slipping in too far.

The best thing about the Rapture #6 is the handle. I can't stress enough how great it is to find an anal toy with a handle that's as perfect as this one is. It stays out of the way when you want it to, it's practical when you need it to be, what more can we ask for?

The toy performs exactly how it's meant. It's a smooth, yet stimulating surface that is relatively versatile and can be used in a variety of different ways: combined with vaginal penetration, alone with a bit of thrusting action, with a clitoral stimulator, or for the guys, a masturbation sleeve. You can put it in and play with it, tugging and pulling and pushing it back in, or you can put it in and clamp your muscles down on it for that 'full' feeling while concentrating on stimulating other areas of the body. There are so many different ways to use this toy that it hasn't gotten old yet for me, and that's a great feat, considering I get bored very easily.

Some of the things I would change about this toy are a lack of vibration, and the girth of it. I think that a vibrator built into the last bead, or maybe a way to insert a small bullet vibe somewhere (without compromising that glorious handle) would definitely put this toy way over the top (and myself as well!). Also, being that I'm very experienced with anal stimulation, and that I personally prefer a more girthy anal toy, I wish that it had a larger diameter.

The Rapture #6 is made of pure silicone, one of the safest materials possible. If you're not sharing the toy with multiple partners, I suggest washing it thoroughly (for at least a whole minute) with anti-bacterial soap in relatively hot water (but not too hot so as to burn yourself!).

If you plan to share the toy with a partner, or more than one partner, I recommend sterilizing it after each use in boiling water for at least three minutes. You could also cover it with a condom.

As it is made of silicone, it is not compatible with silicone-based lubes. So, take care to use only water-based lubes with it.

Finally, silicone tends to attract lint and dust, so keep it in a satin pouch, or your favorite toy box, but remember to keep it separate from other toys. I like to use scraps of fabric to separate and wrap my toys up in. They should all have their own safe, warm place to sleep!

The Rapture #6 comes in a white box, with colour accents that match the colour of the toy inside the box. It's clearly labeled and quite informative, including material specifications. The toy itself is in a form-fitting plastic package, and is completely on display through the front window of the box. It's flexibility is shown by way of it being packaged in a bit of a U-shaped bend.

Mine came with a bit of a paper booklet which contained information about care and maintenance of the material, the material itself, and some of the other toys in the Ophoria brand.

Unfortunately, this toy does not come with it's own pouch.

I had some misconceptions about the toy from the first sight of it, but after using it a couple times, I was quite surprised. I truly enjoy the toy, despite my knee-jerk opinion about it and it will likely be a part of my partner play for a long time.

This was the first toy I've ever used on another person. I chose it because of it's flexibility. The rest of my toys are rigid, and unforgiving, but this one is completely different. It gave me the added safety of being slightly soft, and therefore the risk of me pushing too hard or in the wrong direction, was drastically lessened. Both my husband and I are pleased with how this toy works out in our sexual playground!
