Bring on the Rapture
Ophoria Rapture #6 is a great set of silicone beads. They are well-constructed, pleasurable, and have great sizing that will feel amazing to even a novice to anal play. The colors look great, it will flex with your body, and the strong handle means you won't be worried about losing them.

Pros
Body-safe, adorable colors, very flexible, beginner-friendly, great sizing, strong handle
Cons
Nothing. With proper preparation, this is great.
Ophoria Rapture #6 is a set of silicone anal beads in either purple or fuchsia. The beads are ten inches long with eight inches of insertable length. The strand of beads includes six beads that get larger as you progress towards the handle of the strand. The smallest bead is smaller than the diameter of a finger. The largest bead, at the end of the strand near the handle, is a little less than an inch in diameter.
The packaging is really nice. Just like Ophoria's other packaging, it just shines of elegance, and if you choose to, you can put the beads back into the plastic packaging and into the box for storage. No storage pouch or anything is included with the packaging though.
The entire strand is coated in silicone - no pieces of string or anything in this set. The silicone is very flexible and can easily bend in half without any sort of problem. The handle is also made of the soft, flexible silicone as well. Even though it's made of the silicone, we didn't experience any problems with the handle folding in half and pulling into the anus. We were a little concerned at first, but honestly, we didn't have any reason to be - it didn't even get anywhere near it. The base of the pull handle is strong enough to keep it from collasping. While the handle is soft as well, it's built with enough silicone that it won't be breaking off when you attempt to get the beads out. It's strong enough to handle the force of pulling out the beads without any problem.
Since it's completely silicone with no batteries or motors, the Rapture #6 is completely waterproof. You can easily take this into the shower, and there won't be much of a problem with it dropping - it isn't that slick.
We are extremely pleased with these anal beads. This is our first set of beads, and I was expecting something a little more scary. These didn't look intimidating at all, and the size was perfect. Jor, who is still a somewhat beginner when it comes to anal, wasn't scared by these in the slightest. In fact, he was actually excited to try them out because of their small size.
We covered them in water-based lubricant, and they slid in pretty nicely honestly. They were easy to get in without being painful for him. The beads are strong and silicone but also have enough give to make insertion pleasurable. The beads could be a little finicky with the smaller ones, but once you got the larger beads, it wasn't a fight in the slightest to get them to go in. We, without much of a problem, managed to get all of the beads in. He was extremely happy about it and is very proud that he managed to take all of his first anal beads.
However, if all you've used up until this point is anal plugs or small objects, remember that anal beads go farther up than smaller objects would. This means that, unless you do some anal preperation like doucheing before you begin, it's quite possible you could have fecal matter on your toy. If you want to avoid that, remember to follow some preperation before you begin your anal play - some chance of mess is involved with every type of anal toy, but we found more in the few times we've played with it just because of the length that's involved. Just keep that in mind, but don't let that keep you from playing. Just follow some basic anal routine, and it won't be a problem. Neither of us do that.
Cleaning is really easy. Afterwards, we ended up cleaning it with some toy cleaner but warm water and antibacterial soap would work great also. To disinfect and sterilize it (which you should do regularly, but especially if you plan to share it with another person), boiling it for three minutes in a pot of water will work great. Remember to only use water-based lubricant with these anal beads. They are made from silicone, and silicone-based lubricant could actually end up harming your beads.
Overall, I completely recommend these. They were easy to go in, felt pleasurable when they did, were easy to pull out, and easy to clean. Because they're body-safe, I wasn't worried about any sort of bacteria staying on them either. While advanced users may want something larger, the size on these beads (and the amazing price) makes these perfect for beginners and intermediate users. If you are on the fence on what anal beads to purchase, I recommend these times ten - especially over any set that has a string on it.

Experience
I noticed that on other reviews of this, people were concerned the length was too long. Honestly, it's perfect. It can be hard to tell from the picture, but the silicone is really flexible. The beads will bend with your body, and they honestly don't hurt in the slightest - even during movement.
I have to say that this is an amazing set of beads. The sizing was perfect for our first set of anal beads, and we won't be needing another set for awhile. The only reason I would consider purchasing another set would be to get a set that included some larger beads. It's body-safe, phthalate-free, and just downright pleasurable. I love it.

Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
When we pull out anal beads, this is still what we pull out. To be honest, we don't pull them out anymore - not because of a toy's fault, but because Jor is a mess-o-phobic, and something this long usually tends to leave a small mess on the toy. We've been sticking around to butt plugs, but this still remains a viable option for anal play. We've used it a couple times in the past, and I keep it in the original packaging, and it still looks like the day we first bought it. It retains the slight smell of anal play, but that's hard to be avoided. Boiling the toy seems to have helped some.
