Ophoria Rapture #6 - anal beads by Lover's Choice Inc. - review by Jimbo Jones

Just the name of the Ophoria Rapture #6 alone produced a desire to understand this toy and the background behind the name. Ophoria represents a series of silicone toys manufactured by Lover’s Choice Inc. It was impossible not to see the connection made in the title of this article to euphoria. The actual definition of Ophoria is still not known, but the Rapture part of the name means it is a member of the anal part of the Ophoria line. It appears Ophoria only markets #5 and #6 of the Rapture series right now, but #6 is definitely a worthy member of the series. Rapture #6 is essentially a set of graduated anal beads. There is no string between the individual beads, instead the silicone narrows to nearly string width between each of the beads.

All of the Ophoria toys are made of 100% pure medical grade silicone from Japan. This means that they are extremely easy to clean and can actually be sterilized by boiling for 3-5 minutes, wiping with 10% bleach solution or putting in the dishwasher (top rack, no soap). The differences between companies that manufacture 100% silicone toys often come down to texture and finish as there are a lot of similarities in the materials. The texture of the Rapture #6 is silky smooth. It feels very similar to the Lelo Bob. It has a beautiful matte finish and the beads have some give to them which aids during insertion and makes them more comfortable.

This particular Rapture #6 is purple and the color is very attractive and will stand out in a collection of sex toys that are mostly blacks and reds. Due to the graduation of the beads, they start off very small and are pretty easy to insert.
