This was my first step into playing with metal toys and it was NOT a good one. I got this excited to try out temperature play with a metal toy and was horrified when it turned out to be fairly unsafe to play with. I even tested it twice to make sure because the first time I used it with another toy vaginally while it was being used anally and sure enough I got the same result without double penetration.


The Aluminum Mini is made out of exactly what the name states: aluminum. It won't rust or corrode over time and doesn't contain any chemicals that could possibly cause you issues (latex or phthalates) which is great. The material also means it's good for temperature play (warm it up or pop it in the freezer to cool it down) as I mentioned earlier.



Size wise, this toy would be perfect length for me if it wasn't for the shape. I went with ordering the 4 1/2" version of it, perfect length, but the tip of it is unsafe. Both times I used this toy I came away with a bloody and slightly painful situation with very minimal thrusting. I thought maybe this was just a toy that shouldn't be used with double penetration, the second time around I only slid it in slowly and used my hitachi to cum and it still ended in a horror show. I think in combination with the hard material it's made out of and the shape just makes for a not-so-fun experience. This toy also had an issue with stay put once it was all the way in. It easily would start to slide back out to the point where I had to have a hand down there to hold it in.



If you overlook the fact that you could possible do damage to yourself (maybe your anatomy is more suited for this toy than mine was though) the durability and quality of this toy is pretty good. I've dropped it a few times (right out of the package upon opening it up actually) and not a scratch. The jewel at the bottom DID fall off with the first drop, but was easily glued back on and has stayed in place since then.



Clean up, maintenance and storage are easy enough. Just wiped down after use with your choice of cleaning wipes or toy safe soap and put back into your toy chest/storage area. The material page suggest you could use the top rack of your dishwaser, but I wouldn't push it because that would likely cause the glue holding on the gem at the base to dissolve and the jewel would fall off.



Overall, because of my experience there is no way I could in good conscience recommend this toy. I really wanted to like it, but anal tissue is so delicate as it is and putting something in there you know could cause tears/dig into the tissue just doesn't wise.

I'm still disliking this toy. I have not used it agains since the reasons that I stated in the review. I suppose it could be a nifty looking paper weight though.
