You can Njoy your plug in your butt and that is pretty much it, but the pure plug is the master plug and the simple design and awesome material make it the best butt plug ever. So the task it was set out to fulfill is always exquisitely fulfilled.

The medium pure plug is crafted from medical grade stainless steel, which makes it hypoallergenic, non porous and phthalates free. It is a weighty material, the toy is 1lb despite it's very small and adorable size.

Of course the toy has no taste, but it does have the faint smell of steel. Perhaps this is due to the fact that mine is new, it might disappear over time. The smell is not that blatant or obvious to detect unless you bring the toy up to your nose. However this toy is designed for the butt and is probably not going to ever be near a nose....unless you wear it as you receive oral.

The steel is mirror like in appearance. It is absolutely smooth and flawless. Steel is a rigid material, so it is not in any way going to give during use. Steel might not be for every person. With its ability to retain temperatures and its rigidity, it is likely to appeal more to individuals who have tried glass as it has similar properties.

Perhaps the firm steel is more easy for advanced users to get accustomed to but I think beginners can get just as easily accustomed to the firmness. Some beginners like to start with anal toys of a lesser, more flexible material so might find the jump to steel a big leap.

If you are a beginner and have had some experiences with some toys and are not afraid of rigid toys, the plug will work for you. If you are new to anal play and prefer more flexible materials from the few experiences you have had, then I suggest you wait before ordering this. Get more experience and perhaps if you enjoy different textures and degrees of firmness over time then you will enjoy this toy.

I was hesitating between the large and medium and from reading the various reviews set up by other reviewers, I decided to go with the medium, it seems to be the perfect middle. It is big enough to be slightly filling, but small enough that I don't need any preparation with other anal toys.

The futuristic looking pure plug is designed to easily insert and to stay put as you wear it out and about as well as during sex. Like most anal plugs the toy has a tapered bulbous head which is inserted in the anus, a thin neck which makes keeping the toy in easy and a flattened oval shaped base to keep the toy secure. It is easy to insert, fun to wear but most of all extremely safe.

It is 3 and 1/4 inches long, it is small and dainty and fits in the palm of my hand. The widest point of the head is 1 inch and 1/4 in diameter which in my opinion is beginner size. My first anal toy was 1 1/2 inches but 1 1/4 inches of steel can feel like 1 1/2 inches. If you are a beginner and can only comfortably fit one finger in your bum but do not wish to go bigger, I recommend the small, however, if you can fit two fingers or a 1 inch toy, then I recommend the medium. I am an intermediate anal player and I tend to stick to the 1 1/2 inch diameter range and I chose the medium over the large (which is 1 1/2 inches wide) based on what I read in reviews.

The head is not a perfectly round bulb, it is actually slightly flattened. It has a wider "height" than width, it is barely apparent.

Steel is quite cool and just pretty shocking once you insert it if you don't warm it up. It is also quite weighty and is very obviously felt after insertion. It is ergonomic, fits the curves of the body but the sensation of being plugged is there as the weight of the toy reminds you that it is there.

It is very comfortable, it goes without saying! You can wear it standing up, sitting down and during sex. The plug has stayed in place quite easily, caused no discomforts. The first time I tried the plug, it sort of felt like it was slipping out due to the weight, but I checked it and it was only the sensation it created, it was very secure.

I have tried three different lubes with this toy. The Maximus, System JO H2O lubricant and System JO Premium lubricant. The JO H2O was a little too liquidy, the maximus held up quite well but needed reapplication after a half hour.

The System JO premium (silicone based lube) was the best. It made the steel so slick, you don't need much lube and I recommend you apply it to your anus and in your anus rather then on the toy. Since the toy is super smooth, lube tends to bead up on its surface and I find the best way is to lube myself up well rather then to lube the toy. Also the JO premium is a one of the thicker silicone based lubes I have tried and it made insertion quite comfortable.

Caring for steel is quite easy as it is nonporous.

Njoy recommend simply using soap and water to wash, dry it up, and polish it with a soft cloth. The pure plug is the only toy that I have to polish, which I find sort of funny and makes the toy seem even more high end. If you plan on sharing it or switching from anus to vagina they recommend boiling the toy or letting it soak in a 10% bleach solution but warn to properly rinse the toy before using it.

Steel is compatible with all lubes so you can choose any lube you want to go with this. Since steel is smooth as heck you won't need much lube.

So far I have been storing it in it's cute little cardboard black box. It is so awesome to open the box to an electric pink when I have wanted to play with my plug. It makes the toy really stand out and it keeps the toy secure. I don't know how long I will be keeping it stored this way but for now I keep it in its original box.

This is the easiest plug I have ever had.

I have been shopping for a quick easy plug, to insert and continue what I am in the process of doing. I have found that with larger plugs (1 inch and 1/2 and larger) I have to take more time and my guy is not patient AT ALL when I insert these. Having to switch from a small preparatory toy to a larger toy is not in his interests either. He prefers quick and easy so I had to find quick and easy.

He can poke, prod, wiggle it, it won't go all the way in. He has been calling it my anal jewel, because it is shiny like silver jewelry.

I recommend this toy to beginners mostly, and to the intermediates who do not have this yet.

It has enhanced our sexual experiences together and I am disappointed I haven't gotten it sooner.
