I picked out this toy as my first set of anal beads for both my partner and I. I thought Felix looked so cute and non-intimidating; he'd have to be a great beginner toy! We have used this toy during anal play, just pulling it in place and pulling it out slowly, and we have also kept it in during intercourse. The beads are soft and gradually increase in size, with the smallest one being about the size of a pinky finger and the largest about a thumb. Because of its size and high grade material, this was a very comfortable toy to use even as we were new to anal play. And of course, the funny worm face that serves as the base of the toy always makes me giggle, like there's a worm poking his head out of my partner's butt.

Flexi Felix is made out of Fun Factory's luxurious 100% silicone. The texture is almost velvety. Each bead is firm with a little bit of give, while the connectors between the beads are very flexible. While this flexibility may add to the comfort of this toy while it is already in place, it made the beads slightly difficult to insert, since they would just bend over on themselves instead of going straight in.

Because it is so flexible, this toy might be more springy than other sets of anal beads. You might want to keep this in mind while removing the beads in the heat of the moment - if you pull too hard and too fast, it might spring out on you if you're not careful!

I got Flexi Felix in a pastel baby-blue color that I think is just adorable and its in well with my other girlie-looking toys. The best part is the funny smiling bug face on the end of it, with two eyes that serve as finger-holes. Some might find this creepy or unsettling, but I just think it's hilarious.

This toy is comprised of 5 egg-shaped beads separated by slim connecting pieces. Since the beads are more egg-shaped and not perfect spheres, they felt pretty comfortable going in, which is great for anal beginners. But as I said before, the floppy connector pieces make it a little difficult to push each one in.

The total insertable length of the beads is about 10 inches. Personally, I think that this might be a little long for my taste. If you insert it all the way, things might get a bit "messy", especially because the bumpy-ness of the beads provide space for "stuff" to get caught. While this is my first set of anal beads, my partner and I have other anal toys such as butt plugs and p-spot massagers, and we have not had that problem with other toys. However, you could easily avoid this problem by doing some douching before use, or simply not inserting the toy all the way.

This was my first experience with anal beads and I've found that I don't like anal beads in general as much as other anal toys I have tried. Since Felix is made out of silicone, it is very easy to boil for sterilization which is great when sharing anal toys. Due to its flexibility it's easy to store anywhere.

It is not compatible with silicone-based lubes, so be sure to use water or oil-based lubes with this toy.
