This butt plug was rather easy to use which I was very happy about considering it was my first anal toy. Like any anal toy, you will want to use it with a lot of lube (especially if you are starting out with them like myself). Astroglide has been said to be one of the best lubricants for anal, but silicone lubes may work better for anal play. To use: slowly push the smaller end into the anus, until you hit the "flared" end (the flared end is so you don't have to worry about it getting "lost" in your bottom by going up too far). A smaller segment towards the end helps it to stay in place during sex.

This is the smaller classic butt plug, so it is good for working your way up to the medium or larger ones, or for preparing yourself for anal sex (which was our primary reason for getting this).

The butt plug has a soft core and fairly soft outside (which makes it ideal for beginners because it isn't hard), with a firmer layer between the two giving it it's shape. It is rather smooth, making it slide in easily with a lubricant which really put me at ease seeing as I get a little nervous before anal play.

The texture would be good for beginners like myself, as it slides in really easily, as well as advanced users who are interested in an easy anal experience.

Unfortunately, the rubber-type material it is made of smells terrible! I didn't notice it while opening it but I did find that when held up to my nose it was very strong and gave me a slight headache. I would recommend washing it right away as I did.

The design is great for beginners in anal play which is the main reason my husband and I decided to purchase it. I had never used a butt plug before and thought that it might be a little easier to try and use an actual plug rather than one of my other toys. It is about five inches long, and the width varied between one pinky in diameter to about .75" in diameter. It may seem big, but it was on the smaller size compared to some of the plugs offered.

The best part about this toy is that it is so easy to slide in and use. It is great for beginners interested in anal play. It is especially good if you are intimidated by putting something larger up your bottom. I have used other toys and found that they just weren't the right shape but this was fantastic and my hubby really enjoyed using it on me.

Unfortunately, the smell is a little off-putting as mentioned earlier in the review, but you don't really notice that unless you hold it up to your nose and take a sniff. I washed mine before use anyway just to be safe and I recommend you do the same.

This toy is easily washable with antibacterial soap and water. I used an Eden Wipe but you could use any toy cleaner if you wish. Seeing as it is porous, it should only be shared with a condom. (We, however, do not share our toys at all just to be on the safe side.) It can be dried with a towel and stored pretty much anywhere. I just have mine in the box with all my others (until I can get my bedside table).

The toy comes in plastic packaging which is easy to pop open without any scissors or something. The package could be used to store the toy, as it is resealable (you just hook two pieces of plastic together), though it may be best to just throw it in a drawer unpackaged. It's nothing fancy, so it doesn't really look like a "gift" box.

If this is your first time ever using a butt plug, it may seem large, but once you're using it it really is not. This wasn't my first ever time using a toy anally so it wasn't all that bad to me, it was actually very nice to be using a toy made for anal play. It goes in easily and comes right out just as easily. If you think you can handle it, you may want to try the medium-sized butt plug right off the bat (or if you have already experimented some with anal play). I bought the smallest one just to see how a butt plug really is. I plan on adding more to my collection and using them as "gauges."

We had no problem inserting the butt plug. It took a few minutes for me to actually get used to having it in and lightly thrusted, but overall I really liked it.

My husband is not one on anal play, nothing goes in there. Lol. I'm sure that with a little more experimentation, we can get him to that point though. :)
