This butt plug was rather easy to use. Like any butt plug, you will want to use it with a lot of lube (especially if you are starting out with them). I used Astroglide, but silicone lubes may work better for anal play. Slowly push the smaller end into the anus, until you hit the flared end (this toy includes a flared end so you don't have to worry about it getting "lost" in your anus by going up too far). A smaller segment towards the end, just before the flared part, "locks" it in place so you could wear it during sex.

This is the smaller classic butt plug, so it is good for working your way up to the medium or larger ones, or for preparing yourself for anal sex.

The butt plug has a softer core and pretty soft outside, with a firmer layer between the two giving it it's shape. It is rather smooth, making it slide in easily with a lubricant.

The texture would be good for beginners, as it slides in really easily, as well as advanced users who are interested in an easy anal experience.

Unfortunately, the rubbery material it is made of smells terrible! I did not notice it upon opening the package, but when I held it up to my nose to smell it up close, it was nauseating.

The design is great for beginners in anal play. I had never used a butt plug before and thought that it seemed a little big, but this was not the case at all once I got used to using it. It is about five inches long, and the width varied between one pinky in diameter to about .75" in diameter. It may seem big, but it really isn't filling at all.

The best part about this toy is that it is so easy to slide in and use. It is great for beginners to anal play. It is especially good if you are intimidated by putting something larger up your anus.

This toy is easily washable with antibacterial soap and water. As it is porous, it should only be shared with a condom. It can be dried with a towel and stored pretty much anywhere (e.g., in a drawer, bag, etc.).

The toy comes in plastic packaging which is easy to pop open without any scissors or another tool. The package could be used to store the toy, as it is resealable (it's a matter of popping two pieces of plastic into each other), though it may be best to just throw it in a drawer unpackaged. It's not fancy though, so it doesn't really look like a "gift" box.

If this is your first time ever using a butt plug, it may seem large, but once you're using it it really is not. It goes in easily and comes right out just as easily. If you think you can handle it, you may want to try the medium-sized butt plug right off the bat (or if you have already experimented some with anal play).

My boyfriend seemed to have no problem inserting the butt plug. He did not like the feeling of it being twisted and thrusted inside of him. However, he had no problem simply having it inside of him.
