Tristan 2 - butt plug discontinued by Vixen Creations, Inc - review by Beaners

Do you find yourself bored with your current line up of butt plugs? Wishing for something a little...bigger? Does your partner accuse you of being a size queen? Then congratulations, this is the butt plug for you! I am not a size queen when it comes to butt toys, but my boyfriend certainly is. So as a surprise present, I bought him the biggest (while still remaining feasible) butt plug I could find. Bonus points for this plug being designed by Tristan Taormino, that woman knows her butt play.

First the rundown: This plug is 3 1/2" insertable and has a diameter of a full 2". It's got quite a heft to it, and the neck is very thick. It has a very quickly widening, very bulbous head, making for a nice popping sensation upon insertion. 100% silicone, and as a result is sterilizable and non-porous. While toy covers are always a great idea when sharing anal toys, if in a long term monogamous relationship, being able to sterilize between personal uses makes this toy safer for sharing. The base has cut outs on the sides, making wear significantly easier, particularly if you're wearing long term.

This is definitely a toy that requires a lot of warm up and a lot of water-based lube (No silicone based lube, please!). My boyfriend is still wary about letting me put it in, but has no problem doing it himself. One of our favorite things to do with this plug is put it in, and then have a nice spanking session with it in. The silicone allows for a nice transfer of sensation all the way up through the plug. Just take the insertion slowly and relax, and soon you'll be basking in the nice and full sensations that only a plug of this size can provide.

Unfortunately, they have decided to discontinue the Tristan 2, but as far as I can tell, the 1.5 has not been discontinued. It is a bit smaller but has an identical design. There are also other plugs of similar size but different design available. While I have not yet tried it, I have heard lovely things about the A-bomb from Tantus.
