The Zini JANUS Anti-Shock is a Prostate Massager intended to be used to stimulate or massage the prostate during sexual acts. The Anti-Shock line of JANUS toys has a number of features that link it closely to the ANEROS line of P spot massagers. The toy can easily be worn during sex, solo sessions or worn casually during the day.

What makes the Anti-Shock series unique are the separate designs for the Novice, Intermediate and Expert users. This, combined with the spring base structure and the visual appeal of the toy, causes the Zini JANUS Anti-Shock to stand out.

Due to difference in size/height of the person using the toy, the stimulation may be near the Prostate or the Cowper's gland. The general area should receive stimulation but each person may experience a different sensation.

The insertable portion of the toy is made of body safe silicone, while the base is made of ABS plastic material. The toy should be used with water based lubricant as silicone could cause damage or disfigure the shapes appearance or design.

The silicone has very little drag and is incredibly smooth and silky. There is a small amount of "squish" factor to the silicone, but it isn't overly firm. The interior and base are made of ABS and keep the toy rigid.

The grooves in the design of the Novice Anti-Shock aren't as deep as they may look in images but do add a nice touch to the look of the toy.

The design of the toy is intended to have a 72.5 degree angle that stimulates the prostate. The curved front tip with plastic ball is intended to provide pressure to the perineum during use. The connected base has a looped end which is used to easily remove the toy when you are finished. This end can also be used to adjust and wiggle the toy to caress the prostate.

The shape of the toy is extremely similar to the Aneros series (featuring an insertable, angled tip with a thin base).

The size of the Novice is not intimidating by any means. The measurements for the three different sizes on EF are not entirely accurate (as of this writing). The toy's widest circumference is 2.5 inches, the insertable portion is roughly 3.2 inches.

Despite the small size, the Anti-Shock works surprisingly well. The spring design doesn't have as much give as I would have imagined but it does ease along the process of insertion.

This toy would be great for beginners and for those wanting to practice anal training. It makes for a great warm up toy as well as a satisfactory toy for wear during intercourse.

When in place, the toy gives a sensation that isn't overwhelming, but is entirely enjoyable. More information on the overall performance of the toy is in the Experience section.

Cleaning the toy is incredibly easy. Spraying down with a toy cleaner, some mild anti-bacterial soap and warm water or a toy wipe can easily cleanse the Anti-Shock. Wipe the toy down or allow to air dry before storing it away until it's next use.

One minor issue is that the spot where the base and the insertable portion meet there is a slight groove. This groove does catch a bit of water and lubricant and can be difficult to wipe clean. Allowing the toy to air dry remedies this of course, but it is a small annoyance.

After cleaning you can use the packaging to store if you wish.

The Anti-Shock comes packaged inside of a plastic box that contains a folded cardboard insert. The toy rests in a plastic piece that rests on the cardboard and is easily removed. The top o the package has an anti tamper tape but it can be completely avoided by opening the bottom of the package, which is much easier. The entire package could be recycled it you have a toybox, bag or pouch to store the toy in. The box is a little on the large side for such a small toy but it could easily be used for storage if you have no other alternatives.

The packaging contains one of the biggest flaws of the entire toy. The back of the cardboard insert lists the sizes (correctly noted above in the Size section) for all of the JANUS Anti-Shock toys as well as gives a description of the various "Points" of the toy's design.



The "Points" on the back are packed with Engrish. Now as I have mentioned before I love Engrish! It's funny, entertaining, heart warming... but when it comes to vital information it can actually become annoying. The Points on the back of the package make little sense, but thanks to the website I can elaborate. The futuristic design of the Zini JANUS Anti-Shock had me intrigued immediately. The defined ridges in the shaft, the smooth bulbous tip, the handle of the base that made me think of a teapot and the perineum probe all made me think of something....out of this world.

And there it was, basking in a beam of light. From another planet it came...to probe me.



Then I realized it wasn't from another planet. It was from Korea (although they are designed in Tokyo and made in China).

Zini has a great track record for innovative sex toy designs such as the Seed, Zook, Deux, Roae and more. Their website has a few fascinating items that I am REALLY hoping EF will get in at some point. The DONUT and the DIB look fantastic!!

Being a novice at anal play, I thought that getting the "novice size" would be in my best interest. I have a few other toys and have been training myself and experimenting, but still take comfort in using easier to handle smaller toys. When the Anti-Shock arrived I almost felt like laughing. The size is incredibly small...

For a moment I felt a little disappointed, but I have had a few occasions with sex toys where the appearance can be deceiving (like most things in life) so I ventured forth with my new toy to see what sort of pleasure it could provide.

At first I had a solo session with the anti shock by itself. It was very easy to insert, moreso than any other toy I own. I'm sure this is partially due to the size of the toy, but the smooth silicone and smaller tip were obviously a definite help in this aspect. After fully inserting the toy I did a number of things to test out the toys comfort level and usability.

I tried using it as a thrusting toy, but found that the firmness of the shape didn't allow for anything overly stimulating or maneuverable. I tugged on the grip portion to stimulate the P spot and found that it gave a very mild, but still enjoyable sensation. I don't think this particular size is going to be suitable for milking for most men, but I can imagine the larger sizes may be fairly adequate considering the design and the pleasure I was able to receive just from a little manipulation of the base.

I also walked around the house, did chores, did some writing, etc. It was incredibly comfortable to me and I barely noticed it was there. When I sat down directly upon it the pressure of the seat against the base pushed the toy firmly against the P spot. This was a pleasant surprise and I enjoyed it quite a bit, although I can see how it could be annoying to some or according to physical differences sitting on the base could be uncomfortable or impractical.

After taking some notes and experimenting a little more I took the toy out, which was every bit as easy as the insertion. The following day I proceeded to experiment with the toy in combination with one of my favorite sleeves. Since thrusting was out of the question and manipulating the base was a little awkward to do while stimulating my penis, I decided to let it rest inside while I pleasured myself.

This has proven to be the best use thus far for this little toy as my muscles contracted and relaxed during my session I found my prostate being gently massaged. As I continued to pleasure myself I sat back in a relaxed position and rocked the base and contracted my muscles. The sensation wasn't overly intense, but it was very pleasurable and aided me towards orgasm. When I did climax I naturally tightened up and contracted my muscles around the toy. The feeling of the toy pressing against my p spot mixed the intense contractions sent a wave of pleasure down my spine. I was very pleased with the result.

I've had the same pleasure using this toy since and it proves to be more than its appearance makes it out to be. It is easily worn during sex and during solo experiences. The shape is simple but effective. It shouldn't come out as the flared design and long base should prevent this from happening.

Given the pleasure I have experienced with this toy and how it has exceeded my expectations I still have some difficulty accurately rating it. Three stars, although average to above average, seems a little harsh yet four stars seems a little too praiseworthy for such a small toy that is inaccurately packaged, pricey and has a hard to clean groove. I would give this toy a 3.5 and am hoping to try some of the other sizes in the future. The four star rating is not entirely accurate but I can definitely see this being a great toy for an absolute beginner, if only the price were just a little lower...
