The Janus High Performance Prostate Massager by Zini is a small contoured anal toy designed to stimulate and massage the male prostate. Because of its diminutive size, it is non- threatening and ideal for those new to anal play. This p-spot massager is also very comfortable to use during intercourse.

Design/Shape/Size
The Janus Anti Shock gets it’s name from the fact that the handle has a spring like movement to absorb or cushion movements. The Anti Shock is available in three different versions: Novice, Intermediate, and Expert. All three are very similar with the only difference being a variation in the sizes and shape of the insertable portion. Fortunately, Eden offers all three. I am reviewing the Intermediate. It can best be described as finger-sized, with a width of just under 1” at the widest point and only 1/3 of an inch in diameter at the slimmest point. It is just over 4” long with the insertable portion measuring about 3 ¼”. It really is a small toy, especially when comparing it to a few other toys that I own. In fact, upon opening it, I had my doubts about how effective it would be.

The massager has a black ABS-plastic skeletal frame with the insertable portion sheathed in a velvety smooth silicone cover. It is contoured to rest comfortably against your prostate. The box indicates that it is magically angled for maximum pleasure. The handle has a small ball on one side that protrudes up to rest against and apply pressure to the perineum while the toy is in use. The other side of the handle has a loop to help guide and control the toy as well as assist with easy removal.

Packaging and Care
The Janus comes proudly displayed in a clear plastic box. Inside the plastic is a slim cardboard insert listing a few of the primary features of the massager. The packaging is not at all discreet since the product is in full view. The box did not include any instructions for usage or care. There were just a few bullet points on the back of the cardboard insert pointing out the structure and design.

The massager has no unpleasant odor. Since this is a silicone toy, only oil- or water-based lubricants should be used.

To clean, simply use antibacterial soap and hot water. Although the plug is silicone, since there were no instructions about cleaning, I would caution against boiling it since the handle at the base is plastic.

The Janus is great for its intended use, prostate massage. I found the unique design made this little guy very easy to insert. The Janus can be inserted very easily with little to no prep and just a small amount of lube due to its silky smooth silicone material. Once seated, it was both easy and comfortable to retain thanks to the pencil-thin neck. I also appreciated the well-designed looped handle which enabled easy control and manipulation, allowing me to target my prostate with just the right amount of movement and pressure.

As with some of my other prostate massagers, I also enjoyed using the Janus during intercourse, especially doggie-style. The Janus Anti-shock rocks back and forth during thrusting and milks the prostate. Very nice. Additionally, my wife really likes using the Janus on me while giving me oral sex. The looped handle allows her to be in control of milking my orgasm right out of me…on demand. I’m keeping her!


Knob Essence Romp, Janus Anti-Shock, Aneros Progasm

While I initially had my doubts about the effectiveness of this toy because of its diminutive size, after using it, I can appreciate the niche it fills in my toy box. It is considerably smaller than two of my favorites, the Knob Essence Romp and the Aneros Progasm, but the Zini certainly uses its size to its advantage.
