The shock comes when you feel how good it works!

This new line of prostate massagers from Zini is a great way to explore the world of P-spot play. Zini gives you a hard plastic structure/base and the insertable section is covered with soft, plush silicone. The angle coupled with the raised texture come together to make one good looking toy and an even better P-spot massager. Look out Aneros!

extremely useful review
Every now and then a new P-spot toy comes out, some work OK and some are carbon copies of tried and true products and some just don't work, at least not for me. Not the Janus, Zini did their homework and came up with a great product. This is one that hits the spot and is a pleasure to use, not only during solo play but also during play time with the wife. Truly, my only complaint is the looped handle, it gets in the way at times such as when I am on the bottom, it could be about an inch shorter. Aside from that, it does everything a prostate massager should and is very stimulating.

There are a few ways to use P-spot toys; you can use them to milk the prostate by inserting and using the pelvic floor muscles to push and pull it in and out, use them like a butt plug and leave them in while having sex or masturbating or you can use them like a dildo for thrusting. Either way you chose to use them, start off with a good quality lube (Water or oil based for the Janus), relax, insert the toy and enjoy the stimulation.

As you can see, the Janus comes to you in a clear plastic box with the toy proudly displayed on the front. Not discreet by any means so be aware. On the back Zini gives you lots of info about the toy and material. You will also find some guidelines about the three different sizes of the Janus; they list them as "Novice, Intermediate and Expert", the difference being the size (3/4", 1" and 1 1/4" diameter) and amount of texture. The one I have is the Expert.

The expert is 1 1/4" diameter at the largest part of the toy; this is the overall diameter including the texture. Otherwise the toy is sized as stated on the product page. I will add the base from perineum tab to the back of the handle is 4".

A very stimulating texture comes on this Janus suitable for those that like texture. The swirled type texture is far from the norm but does a great job at stimulating the anus and prostate as well as the rest of the rectum. Once inserted, the small ribs at the neck of the toy provide stimulation to the anus as it slides in and out. Zini decided to use a ball for the perineum tab, this is by far the most comfortable style that can be used; it does not poke or scratch. The handle is big enough for a good hand hold and, as advertised, has a "Spring structure preventing sudden insertion". Now I will say that while it does have a spring type effect it does not necessarily prevent "Sudden insertion", only you can control that. Where it does come in handy is when moving from position to position during sex with a partner. It is all too easy to forget the handle is there during the heat of the moment.

For cleaning the Janus; a good toy cleaner, antibacterial soap or 10% bleach will work. Boiling may be an option too but I worry about plastic when high heat is concerned, may be best to just use the other options.
Because of the raised texture, make sure you take some time cleaning the toy. An old toothbrush will come in handy for cleaning out all the crevices. You can see in the picture below the left over soap hiding on the top portion. (I did this on purpose to show you all)

Oil and water based lubes will be fine but not silicone in most cases. If you must use silicone make sure to spot test you lube first to check for compatibility. In any case, use plenty of lube and reapply as needed.

Silicone is a bit of a dust magnet so a quick rinse before use is advisable. You can use the box for storage, a nice toy pouch or plastic bag.
Experience

For comparison, I placed it next to the Aneros Progasm. This lets you see the size and angle of the Janus. It is interesting to note that the two companies differ in their idea of "Expert" toys. Aneros believes that smaller toys are for the more advanced crowd while Zini is the opposite. Without getting into all the ins and outs (Oh yes I did) of this topic, The Janus is for more advance users that can handle the size. The Aneros side is that more advance users are more accustomed to the light stimulation a smaller toy gives and the smaller size moves easier. I would say that the texture and better angle of the Janus wins out for me, plus Aneros does not offer texture on most of their toys and I do like texture for back door play.

All in all the Janus is a great prostate massager. I like that it can be used in different ways for different situations. The handle does get in the way at times but that is nothing to stop me from using it. It just means that small pillow under my butt needs to be used if I am on my back. Plus, the wife can reach it when I am on top and manipulate it to bring me to climax when she wants.

There is no worries about it coming out and I can use it while doing things around the house like a plug, I just wear some loose fitting sweats. This milks the prostate with ease and I don't even have to work the Kegels.
