Metal Worx Mr. Smooth by Pipedream is a polished steel toy that's marketed as an anal probe. The smooth design and great shape make it an excellent piece for anal play, but it's use isn't limited to only that.

Both men and women can enjoy the various uses that this toy has to offer; and can be used both for solo play or with a partner, for masturbation and during intercourse. On top of using it internally, it works great at a massager. Thanks to the design, it's easy to handle and use on tight muscles to help your partner relax after a long day.

The shape is wonderful for vaginal stimulation as well, working best for those that prefer thinner toys rather than those that give a full feeling. The shape of the bulbous end can slide firmly and nicely against the g-spot, providing that your anatomy would with it. The bulb doesn't create a popping sensation when thrust because it's not large enough, but again, that may vary by person based on anatomy. On top of stimulation, it can be use to exercise weak pelvic floor muscles by doing Kegel exercises. It glides more easily over the skin than silicone, but can have a very slight amount of drag to it depending on how damp your skin is. Since the material is non-porous, only a small amount of lubricant is needed to eliminate this issue, though more is necessary for comfortable anal play.

The smooth feel of this toy makes it great no matter how you're using it, but for those that need some type of texture to get the most pleasure out of your play, you won't find it with this one. While the feel of it might be a pro for some, the totally smooth design might prove to be boring for others.

Since this is made fully from steel, there's no give to any part of the toy. It's rigid and quite heavy. Coming in at a whopping 18 oz, it's the heaviest toy I own. When used as a plug alone, this isn't an issue, but your arm may get pretty tired if you're using it in a thrusting motion.

This steel toy had no odor when it arrived, and cleans up effortlessly after play; eliminating the fear that this product will hold on to odors.

The design of this toy is quite interesting. It's really like having two different toys in one. One end of the toy has a bulbous end to it, which tapers abruptly; the opposite end is only slightly larger, but is more elongated in the way it decreases. Both sides feel different and work better for different types of play. Inserting the bulbous end first, whether vaginally or anally, makes it possible to thrust the toy. The more elongated end works best if you plan on using this toy as more of a plug, since it doesn't leave much of the toy sticking out to do much with.



The length makes it comfortable and non-intimidating for anal play, but some women who are planning on using this for g-spot play might find that this toy falls short, literally. The size of this toy makes certain play really enjoyable and others not as much. It also fits very comfortably in your hand when using for massages.

While this toy is small enough that it would fit well in a purse, backpack, or luggage; it is quite heavy. I wouldn't consider it something I would fly with, but for little trips it should be okay. If you store or plan on traveling it with it inside the case, it becomes a lot more obvious than not since there are markings on the outside of it.

For anal play, this is a nice option, especially considering how well this toy holds temperature. With two different ends that provide two different feelings and purposes, there's a lot to appreciate about this toy. When used for vaginal stimulation, I was less than enthused about it. I was expecting to have that nice 'popping' sensation that so many toys with bulbous ends offer. However, the toy was just too small to enjoy that type of play, in my opinion, making its use far more limited for my play.

This toy is very easy to use, and a little lubricant goes a long way with this. When lubricated well and relaxed, this toy slides in smoothly and sits comfortably inside of you while you play. With the smooth texture, light thrusting is simple and also very comfortable.

This toy is very easy to care for. The steel can be cleaned using anti bacterial soap, your favorite sex toy cleaner, or can be sterilize by boiling, wiping down with a 10% bleach solution, or putting it on the top rack of your dishwasher. Always make sure to sterilize when used with more than one person and orifice. Once the toy has been washed, make sure it's wiped down to remove any excess moisture on the toy.

Along with this toy, comes a really nice case to hold the toy inside. It does take up more room than necessary for the toy, but the foam on the inside is cut to fit it perfectly, keeping it in place rather than just rolling around in the case. Should you decide to store it another way, I would recommend using a padded toy pouch or at least a satin pouch to prevent it from getting small scratches on the surface.

The case this toy comes in is very attractive looking. The background color is black and has metal trim. It also has a little latch on the front that helps keep it closed. The top of the case has a paper on it that shows a full color image of the toy, the toy name, the company name, and the line this toy is from; Metal Worx



The paper on the top can be peeled off, but underneath that, the top has the logo, and the words, 'Metal Worx' and 'Pipedream'. While removing the paper on the top makes it a little more discreet, it's not completely because there's still wording on the top.




The bottom of the box also has a paper on it that can't be removed. It contains the only information this toy comes with. It talks about the features, shows the company name and website, etc. It doesn't scream sex toy, but anyone who's familiar with them will know what's contained.


When you open the box, you see the toy, carefully nestled in a piece of foam. The toy fits comfortably inside, making it so that it's less likely to come out of that area and bounce around the case. This is the perfect choice for storage since it's already made to fit the toy perfectly.

While this toy seems like it's great quality when you first look at it, there are a couple little spots that aren't perfect. It's not enough that it's unusable, but I had expected more for the high price tag.
