Metal Worx Mr. Smooth - steel wand discontinued by Pipedream - review by raffi

Firstly, this is a smooth metal toy, basically marketed as an ass plug. It is just a pinch below 5" in length from the tip to the base of the ball-end (not including the ball) and the thickest diameter of the "shaft" is the same as the ball end which is 1 1/4" (a girth measurement of this point is 4")

The toy comes with it's own box; it's actually quite a nice box I think. It's black with silver edges and corners and has a flip clasp. There is a foamy piece inside that the toy rests inside to protect it. There are stickers on the outside of the box (I hate stickers). I took them right off, with no problem.

Since the toy is smooth metal, it can be warmed and cooled, and is easy to clean with soap and water.

It is noteworthy that being metal, this toy will set off a metal detector - keep that in mind for traveling.

As for discretion, I think this toy probably could be left out on a table without question. There are a lot of geometric, abstract sculpture type pieces of art around and this would fit right in with a decor like that. Naturally, if your home isn't decorated in that style, someone would possibly point and ask (eventually) "what's that?". But if this type of shape would fit in with your decor, leave it out (wash before using). If it comes to someones mind "oh that's for sex!", then they're just as naughty as you are anyways.

My toy has some imperfections, which do not inhibit the usability or the beauty. There is no pitting or grittiness on the surface or anything of that nature. But there are a few spots where it is not consistently smooth, like there's a small indent or bubble. If I were to hazard a guess to the cause, I would say the initial base piece is made from a mold and then possibly dipped or electroplated with the finish. (Just a guess, I don't know the manufacture process). Either way it is something you can see from staring at it, but you can't feel it with your fingers and definitely can't feel inserted.

Personally, I love metal and glass toys. I generally only purchase metal or glass. Not only are they visually appealing and beautiful, they are also easy to clean and maintain, without any special products, and can be used to experiment with temperature.

When first inserting this toy at room temperature, it is cold (which I love). Being this toy is metal, you can warm it or cool it easily in a bowl of water, body heat, ice cubes, etcetera.

Often times, my mate or I stimulate my clit, either manually or with a vibe. It is a great shape for grinding with it in my vagina; generally not too long, so it hits the cervix. When using this toy anally, it is quite long, not like a plug, which is usually not even half the length. Given the drastic taper, it is also very interesting for thrusting. We have also had a lot of fun bringing it from my vagina to my ass (not the other way around, due to hygienic reasons). Being this toy is smooth and texture free, we have enjoyed dual penetration. Some other toys are either too thick or the texture/shape gives me more of a painful experience, rather than a pleasurable one.

Having such a drastic taper, this toy stays in quite easily, either vaginally or anally. When inserted vaginally, I am able to have quite good range of movement, including walking. When inserted anally it is a bit long for me and I'm generally stationary. Certainly, I can feel it inside of me. I wouldn't recommend it for a long length of time or to be used like this outside of your home (unless the possibility of being caught out of breath is acceptable to you).

I do a lot of kegel exercises and I don't use anything that stretches me. A single finger fills me to satisfaction, two is tight, but more than that girth needs to be worked up to. So for me, I use this toy vaginally and it fills me. I like to use it as if it is a piece of jewelry; as in, before sex I slip it in, so that just the ball is visible. I think it looks very pretty and my mate has fun discovering which piece of jewelry I'm using.
