The Sasha Grey signature plug small is an anal plug. An anal plug is designed to slide into the anal cavity to wear during extended periods of time. Plugs can be wore during any day activities, but the harsh material might not be pleasant to move around in much for some. Sometimes it rubs the pelvic bone at certain angles, for me. They vary is sizes, which you can work up to, but this toy is small. The small is very beginner friendly, but shouldn't be the first plug you put in your ass, due to the harsh material. It is possible to use this plug for double penetration (DP), but a few factors would change for individual persons. Factors like angles, distance between openings, and the shape of body, so this is not possible for everyone. The base could also potentially rub against your partner during intercourse, but again this will vary from couple to couple. This plug can be used by men and women. The coloring of the plug is also gender neutral.

If you have a vagina, you can also use this plug vaginally, but their is hardly a bulb head, so you might find it harder to keep inside vaginally. I did. Remember not to go anal to vaginal, for the health of your vagina. Anally, there was no issue keeping it fro sliding, but this all varies person to person. Should you find that this plug is too small for you I recommend Moonshine Butt Plug.

Sasha's plug is made out of Pyrex Glass. You will want to be sure to fully inspect your glass toys upon arrival. Take them out and run your fingers all over them, it is best to potentially cut your finger then to cut where you will be putting the glass plug. Glass is hypo-allergenic, latex free, phthalates free, food grade material, and non porous. Should you want to share any glass item, have no fear, you can sterilize it by boiling in between users or you can use a condom to avoid having to boil it. The worst quality about glass is how unforgiving it is, you can easily bruise your cervix, hurt yourself, or break your teeth with this firm material. Due to the firm material, the plug might be to solid for a first plug, but still small enough for a beginner. Glass is odorless and tasteless. The best part about glass is that is can be used for temperature play. The best way to heat or cool your glass toys are to use warm or cool water (you can add ice), since boiling and freeze could potentially be dangerous temperatures to introduce internally. And drastic temperature changes could harm your glass. All these great qualities add up to a wonderful material safety rating of a 10 for glass.

There is only a slight bulbed head on the plug, but this doesn't really add to the smooth texture.

The Sasha Grey Signature line is all the same color. The color is black, which is very beautiful. There were no noticeable surface flaws to my plug.

For the most part plugs tend to look like shades, but this plug looks like a mushroom that hasn't reached full bloom. The top of the bulb is tapered, but not enough for the easiest insertion, so lube or spit is recommended. The plugs stands 3.5" tall on its 5.5" in circumference flared base (1.75" diameter.) However, the plug is only insertable 3". The largest circumference/diameter that you will insert is located at the fullest part of the bulb, which is 3.75" circumference (just under 1.25" diameter), but the majority of the plug is more slender than that. The post narrows down to 2.5" circumference (0.75" diameter.) Therefore, this plug is petite and beginner friendly, but not for the first plug. You should at least have experience with fingers for this toy.

I love the size of this plug. I purchased moonshine, but that was too big for me anally without a work up. This plug is great for me to use first then I can use moonshine.

As long as this is packaged right it is great for traveling, but if your luggage is going to be search this is not discreet enough to hide.

While the flared base does make plugs appear to be great for harness compatible, they really shouldn't be used on a harness. The harsh material could hurt the receiver. Also, the slickness of the material could make it easily fall out of place, which could break your plug.

The best use for this plug is what it is intended for, up your ass, at least for me. As a vaginal plug I find it too small, but as a butt plug it works great. The feel of something up you ass while daily routines is really erotic. I never got to really enjoy this until this plug, but now I really like it. The plug gives me a full feeling, but not too full. I only get the full feeling anally, so there is room vaginally to play too. A complete full feeling would block vaginal from anything potentially invading that orifice. There are no controls or anything to potentially ruin getting the plug wet, so feel free to use it in the shower as well, but be careful not to drop it. Should you feel it slipping, cup your hand to catch it.

Glass is easy to take care of. To wash your plug just run it under warm water and use an antibacterial soap as well. You can also use toy wipes or toy cleaner. Should you want to share this remember to use a condom or boil it in between users.

The package is suitable for storage or you can purchase a toy pouch. Then you should store it some where that is discreet and that it can't easily fall down.

Glass is compatible with all lubes, so, enjoy with any lube you choose.

The plug comes in a black box with the plug pictured on the front, on the sides are photos of Sasha Grey posed seductively, and on the back is some basic information about the item. Inside your plug is placed inside of foam with a front lid cover of foam as well. The box opens at the top. The foam is hard to open. I am currently using this for storage, but I should get a toy pouch.

I am very happy with my plug. The fact that I finally found a hygienic material plug that can be used anally and the size doesn't completely block entrance to my vagina is fantastic. It is the main purpose behind the plugs I have purchased and I finally found one that fits my needs. This is my favorite use for the toy too.
