Evolved Novelties mostly has female toys, but the Talon is different. It is an anal tool specifically designed for males. The size makes it great for beginners and actually can be used by women too. While it might not reach the prostate of some men, especially those who are experienced in anal play, it does feel comfortable and arouses either sex to produce very intense orgasms. Both my male partner and I love the Talon and since it is 100% silcione, we can put it in the dishwasher to sterilize it.

The Talon is made of a very unique type of silicone. I had expected it to be softer and have some give like most toys that I have, but the Talon is very firm. There is no give at all actually. I was kind of concerned about this because of the slightly pointy tip, but the surface has a very silky feeling to it that when combined with a water based lubricant, slides in very easily. It has no smell and is non-porous, phthalates and latex free, as well as hypo-allergenic.

The Talon comes in two colors, black and a blue. I have the blue which from the pictures is supposed to have a white swirl look to it. Every one of these will look different. Mine only has a few and unless it is being looked at very closely, just looks like a solid blue, but a very pretty on at that!

Well, this is shaped sort of like a claw...hence the name Talon. The insertable portion of the toy is 3 1/2" long. It starts with a very skinny point and then gets thicker with a few bulges on the top-these would be rubbing the prostate when inserted correctly. Consequently, the bottom is smooth except for one small notch that also helps, in a small part, to anchor the toy. At the end of the 3 1/2", takes a sharp 90+ degree turn upwards and thins out. This anchors the toy and prevents it from getting sucked into the body. There is no reason that this toy would get sucked inside the anal cavity unless you applied A LOT of force and bent the toy uncomfortably.

The size is small and because of the non-sticky or dust catching material it is great for travel. It is small enough to fit into a back pocket too! It is also discreet because it is so weird looking. I don't think anyone would know what it was. A mouth guard? Fishing lure?

Since this is silicone, you need to find a good water based lubricant to use it with. The toy is small so only a little is needed on the insertable part and a small amount on the outside of the anus. No warm up or much relaxation was needed to insert this into my partner or I. All we needed was a bit or arousal. That's the easy part! When inserting make sure the curl is facing upwards towards the bellybutton.

The bumps go in one by one and offer a surge of arousal with each one. I could instantly see that my partners member was pulsing with pleasure. He came harder than he has in a long time. While giving oral, I just applied slight pressure against the curl. My partner could then rock into my thumb to control the pressure and pleasure himself. It is safest for use with a partner or solo while remaining stationary. It also isn't a toy that is great for thrusting or wearing out.

When using the Talon, make sure to use only water based lubricants. Water based is easy to clean off of the silicone with water and soap. If you share the toy, like my partner and I do, just boil it for a few minutes or put it in the silverware area of your dishwasher. I say this because of the size, it could fall through the top rungs. To store it, place it back in its awesome package.

I love the package for the Talon because it doesn't take up any more space than it has to. It is a hard plastic oval case (kind of like the thing that protected the Beast's rose in Beauty & the Beast!). The bottom pops off for the toy to come out. The case is clear and has cool deep purple writing on it saying the company and toy name. On the back there is a little blurb about the toy and material. It would make a nice gift and is great to travel with.

Because this toy worked well for both my partner and I, I have to give it 5 stars. The material is extremely superior, the design is unique and functional, and it is easy to clean. It felt great! It would be awesome if they came out with more in different sizes and shapes. I'd buy them all!
