Velvet plush teaser - butt plug discontinued by Icon Brands - review by Mr. & Mrs. Peg

Mrs. Peg bought the Velvet Plush Teaser by Icon Brands for herself. She has the Pure Plug Small by nJoy, but was looking for something new to play with. When she saw this black silicone plug she just had to have it.

Recently we got the Ella by Lelo, and when we were discussing it for the review Mrs. Peg told me something I was completely unaware of. She is a huge fan of black silicone products that have a matte finish. She says they are far more comfortable than shiny silicone products. She finds that without enough lube, glossy finished silicone can pull a little bit inside of her and cause her discomfort. That this had never really come up kind of floored me, but when I think about the toys that she likes to play with, they do all have matte finishes.

So when the Velvet Plush Teaser showed up I was not surprised that it too had the matte type finish that Mrs. Peg is fond of. What I was a little incredulous about was the claim on the packaging that this was made from “the world’s smoothest silicone.” That is actually, in our experience, an absolute fact. This toy is so incredibly soft and smooth that it must be touched in order to truly understand how silky it feels. Even touching you may not believe what you are feeling. (I know I sound like I am being hyperbolic, but it is true!) It is so smooth in fact the manufacturer suggests you can use it without lube. We preferred not to test that, but a few drops of water-based lube and it slipped comfortably inside Mrs. Peg. She was very pleased with how it felt. The size was good for her too, not too distracting but enough to be noticed; just how she likes it.

The Velvet Plush Teaser is just that, a little tease, and perfect for play when you don’t want to be filled up or if you are new to anal play. It measures in at 1 1/16 inches in diameter and 3.5 inches long. The insertable portion is 3 inches in length with an elongated tapered neck that is about half an inch in diameter. The base of the Velvet Plush Teaser is rectangular with the corners knocked off. The long sides have a slight inward curve making it very comfortable between the cheeks and allowing the plug to be worn for long periods of time and while up and moving about. In the base is ¾ inch recessed circle into which fits a stainless steel pull ring. Icon says this is to aid in removal. Personally, I’d rather just rely on the base of the toy as a means of removal and do without this ring all together. It is a split ring so you could use this as keychain if you wanted to be daring.

The silicone itself, besides being so incredibly soft and smooth, is fairly firm. It does depress when squeeze with a good amount of force. The neck is completely flexible which adds to its amazing comfort. The base also flexes quite a bit making it nice and comfy when worn in place for long periods of time.

We could not be happier with this plug. It is the perfect size for Mrs. Peg when she wants just a little something up her ass. The material is absolutely divine and the quality of the toy is amazing. I know that I am going to be getting the Velvet Plush Fulfiller very soon!
