Such A Tease...

Velvety and plushy silicone and a beautiful design are what attracted me to this toy. And with its good looks and my curiosity, it was a selection and purchase made in heaven. Its very presence teases and tempts in the most tantalizing fashion.

Use

The Velvet Plush Teaser from Icon Brands is a butt plug. That's what Icon Brands designed it to be, and that is what it is best used for.

It is the smallest of their Velvet Plush plugs, and suitable for beginners and intermediates. Advanced users can certainly partake, but might not find it as filling as something larger.

The best thing about this anal plug is the material and shape, which I will go into further detail about in the following sections.

Material / Texture

The name of the toy really says it all. Made from 100% silicone--phthalate free, hypoallergenic, and waterproof--the plug has a velvety touch matte finish and is indeed plush. The base and neck are surprisingly flexible and the head has just the right amount of give when squeezed.

And as far as silicone goes, it isn't the least bit tacky. I had the plug sitting on my bedside table overnight, by morning it hadn't collected any lint or dust as silicone is sometimes prone to doing. So you know it's high quality silicone, well worth the cost of the toy.

Being silicone, it is safe to use with water based lubes only.
    • Flexible
    • Not porous at all
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

I love the shape of this plug. It's one of the nicest silicone plugs that EF offers.

It has a tapered head, perfect for insertion, narrow neck, and a flared base. The head is 1.5 inches high, the neck is 1 inch high, and the base is 0.5 inches thick. Total length of the toy is 3 inches.

The head is 1 inch in diameter, and 3.5 inches in circumference. The neck is 0.5 inches in diameter, and close to 2 inches in circumference.

The base is 2 inches long at the vertical. On the horizontal it is 1 inch at the widest part, and 0.75 inches at the narrowest. This forms curved indentations designed to nestle between the butt cheeks, allowing for comfortable long term wear.

Situated in the base of the plug is a metal ring that you can hook your finger into to make removal of the plug easier.

While suitable for all levels of anal play, it is still best suited for beginners to intermediate users. Its small size also makes it discreet and suitable for travel, whether it be in your suitcase, or as a 'carry on' (wink).

Performance

Great for first timers and those in the midst of anal training, Teaser can be used solo or with a partner. So if you're wanting a plug that has some give, Teaser is a good choice. And if you're wanting something more fulfilling, Teaser does have two older brothers and a 'rippled' cousin, if ripples are your thing.

It doesn't require much lube - again, water based only - the silicone seems to hold it fairly well. And it is easy to use. Though secure, I do suggest caution when pulling on the metal ring attached to the base.

Users wanting to simulate anal sex or DP will probably want to look elsewhere than this plug.
    • Comfortable
    • Easy to use

Care and Maintenance

Teaser is easy to take care of. Just wash with warm water and antibacterial soap, give it a quick boil, or use toy wipes. After that it is just a matter of storage.

Packaging

You could use the clear box sleeve it comes in, but it's considerably larger than the plug. I'd suggest a small Ziploc bag, keeping it away from other silicone plugs/toys, and storing it in a cool dark place.

Experience

While I'm curious about anal play, I'm not quite ready to try anything beyond some gentle prodding. But now I have the perfect plug to get things started when I am ready. I don't regret this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone who is at the same place I am.

Great review! I like when people include pictures to show how flexible things are.

As do I Zombirella. Which is why I try to remember to include them when applicable. Not to mention it's sometimes easier to show how flexible something is than to show how much give it has.
