Tonight on a trip to the local adult store, I picked these up. They are the identical item, down to the UPC code.

I have never used anal beads before but I've always heard about them. I wanted to try them, but I didn't want to invest a lot of money if I didn't know I was going to like them. They were $9.99 in the store. I looked on the phone to see how much they were at EdenFantasys and I figured I would try them from this store and if I liked the feel, I could order better ones from EdenFantasys. That is still the plan. I definitely need better ones.

First, the packaging is pretty cheap. Plastic with some stapled closing it. I thought I was being smart getting jelly because I figured they would be kind of soft and comfy, but I made two mistakes with that choice. #1, these are not soft and squishy at all. They are actually very hard. #2, I didn't realize that the jelly would make cleaning an issue. Apparently, these can't be thoroughly cleaned because of the material. This will present a problem if you want to share this with your partner and for hygiene in general.

It looked fine. Purple clear "jelly". I didn't taste or smell it, so unfortunately, I can't speak to that, and I'm certainly not doing it now!! Haha. I didn't notice any strange smells coming out of the package though.

We used Astroglide (of course!) with these. You can use silicone lubes also.

The insertion was PAINFUL because the plastic/rubber has a seam where it's in the mold and it really hurt. It was uncomfortable enough that I made my boyfriend stop for a minute and debated if I could go on. The worst section was the tip and the side because it had two seams. After that, it wasn't as bad, but not great.

After I saw the reviews other people had posted, I asked him how he thought it felt, as far as the ring at the end. He said it's pretty thin, but he didn't notice it much because he actually ran his finger through the ring, and then around the last bead to have a better grip, because I had pointed out the ring some people complained about.

Also, the whole piece itself is rather rigid and I worried something could get poked internally that shouldn't.

It felt okay when it was pulled out slowly, but not earth shattering. I am wondering if the beads were too small? The largest is about an inch.

I didn't like this product much. I will get a better set. I think the material is poor. It's harder than I expected, but to not be able to sterilize or properly clean something that is designed to be in your rectum, makes no sense.

I used soap and water, but I think I am going to dispose of this item and get something more comfortable and that can be cleaned properly.

I had to dispose of these due to the inability to clean them. Very disappointed. Due to the Jelly material, you can not sterilize or get all of the porous materials clean, and that is a health risk, unless you use a condom.
