The Pink Ripple is a teardrop shaped glass butt plug from SSA Glass. The Ripple is made of Pyrex Glass and works well for temperature play. It also works well for warming yourself up before anal sex. Wearing it around the house makes mundane tasks more enjoyable while providing a nice full feeling. The Ripple can also be very enjoyable when worn during intercourse.

The Ripple is completely smooth and made of rigid Pyrex Glass. Although the Ripple is smooth, as I ran my hands over it I could feel small waves and undulations in the surface. The tip in particular has a area that feels like a very smooth version of a soft serve ice cream cone top. I'm sure this is where the plug was pulled away from the source of glass when it was made. It is completely smooth with no rough edges or points, so there is no need to worry.

The inside of the Ripple was clear of inclusions such as bubbles, the only place I found variances was on the surface.

The smooth tapering glass makes for easy insertion and the tip of the teardrop helps things get started easily. Also pre-heating or cooling the plug in a warm or cool water a few minutes before use can provide a whole new temperature experience.

The teardrop shape of the Ripple makes for a smooth, gradual insertion. At the largest portion, the middle of the ripple, the diameter is 1 1/2 inches and the length is 4 3/4 inches with 4 1/2 inches insertable. I think the size of the Ripple is best suited for intermediate players. I found it took some time to fully insert it.

The Ripple preformed well for me, it was comfortable for long term wear while walking or sitting and provides a nice full feeling. I used this plug with several dildos, including the average size Tex and the dramatically curved Fun Factory Curve, and the Ripple played harmoniously. I didn't have any trouble keeping the Ripped in during intercourse either.

The one concern I have with the Ripple was evident from the minute I saw it. The base looked smaller than the toy did. I measured and sure enough, the Ripple has a base that measures one and a quarter inches across. The base is smaller in diameter than the widest part of the plug!

I didn't have any trouble with the base feeling as if it was going to get sucked inside me, but it is possible! I would not in good conscience be able to recommend this plug to anyone just for that reason. It worked well for me, but that may not be the case for everyone.

The Ripple can be cleaned with Alcohol, a 10% bleach solution, boiled for three minutes or placed in the dishwasher. Any lube can be used with the Ripple as well.
