This little flogger is totally adorable looking. It has the perfect lush, kinky feel that just conjures up satin sheets and handcuffs. However, when used for flogging, it has almost no impact. I do not feel much more than the slightest sting, when it is used on me, even by some less than gentle partners.

It can certainly be used effectively for teasing; you can trail the ribbons all over your partner's body or your own, which can be pleasantly arousing. You could also probably use the handle, by running it over your pussy and clit, but because the entire flogger is covered in satin ribbon this could get fairly messy.

As other reviewers have mentioned, I am not entirely sure how you would clean it. It is has never been an issue for me, because it has been primarily used to gently tease along my stomach, breasts, neck, etc., or to 'flog' my ass, so it has never gotten into any real trouble. I am pretty sure there is no way it could draw blood, so this is not really an issue.

The flogger seems very well-made. It has not seen especially heavy use, admittedly, but it looks really good and doesn't come off as cheap. It is a really great accessory. If you have a space set aside for kink, or if you just want to set a mood or scene, it works wonderfully as a prop of sorts. The ribbons are polyester, but very pretty. The handle is wrapped in ribbon in a cute crisscross pattern, and there is a convenient loop on the end by which you could hang it up, if you are so inclined. Otherwise, it can be easily stored in a box or bag and does not take up much space, beyond the seven or so inches of the handle.

The toy is also totally vegan, which can be a huge plus.

If you are just getting into flogging/kink/pain play or just want to add a bit of spice and drama to a more vanilla scene, this could be a great introduction - it really looks the part without causing too much pain or distress. However, if it's pain and distress you are after, I would definitely look elsewhere.

I still have this, and it still looks really cute in my toy box, but I certainly have not used it in ages - I really want something that can inflict some pain.
