Love cuffs by NMC Ltd - review by GONE!

You probably know what these are used for even if you're not exactly experienced or knowledgeable about the kink world. Pink, fluffy handcuffs are the most stereotypical BDSM item ever, are they not?

Handcuffs like these are used to restrain a consenting partner during play. These particular cuffs are best for beginners who are just starting their adventures in bondage. I would also recommend them to hardcore sadists as these little beasts are pretty damn painful without the detachable fur. Hell, even with the fur on they're on the tight side, and I have tiny wrists!

These aren't a heavy or large item so you could travel with them, but I wouldn't recommend taking them on a plane or anywhere that your luggage will be scrutinized unless you're definitely not embarrassed easily.

The design is nothing new, but it's a classic for a reason. It's pretty sturdy in construction, I can't complain about that. The only thing I complain about is that the fur bits look cheap. I would rather not have them be detachable and just have them look really nice over the metal. I won't be using them without the fur lining anyway.

The way the keys fit was pleasantly surprising. I was half-expecting them to be as bad as a children's pair of cuffs for playing cops and robbers since these were so cheap, but the keys fit in well and the cuffs released quickly when unlocked. There are also safety releases on these cuffs.

You can adjust the size to some degree but I guarantee most of you won't be using them on anything but the largest setting. Like I said before, i have small wrists and I still felt like I needed more room in these at their biggest.

The faux fur could use to be softer, it's a bit scratchy especially near the bare edges of each fur piece wrapped around.

I thought the keys were really cute, with their slightly vintage look. They came attached to a ring around one of the large, metal chain links connecting the cuffs in the middle.

I got this product free with a larger order, so I would say it definitely meet my expectations of which I had none. I would even say it surpassed them. They've been fun to play around with if a bit uncomfortable, but still more convenient than digging around my room for my fancy, locking leather cuffs.

I've used these the most as a decoration, if you will. For a while I had one cuff locked to the base of my desk chair as a mental reminder that if I didn't finish my writing goals to the day I would lock my hand to the chair until I did. Oh, self-bondage. It helps me get stuff done sometimes.

I haven't experienced any chafing with these but I have had red marks on my wrists from the metal being on the tight side.

If you feel the need to clean these cuffs, you can use soap and water on them but be sure to let the metal piece dry thoroughly. If you want to clean the fur bits, you could take them off and wash them the same way you would any other fake fur piece.

These cuffs are small so you can store them anywhere out of sight, pretty much. Mine are in a shoebox-sized toy box on my nightstand.

They came in this little cardboard box. While this box would be suitable for giving these cuffs as a gag gift, it's not exactly discreet. Use them as storage with caution. Give it as a gift with even more caution.

These are a heck of a lot more comfortable to wear with your wrists in your front than behind your back. Just so you know.

These cuffs have also been discontinued so you may want to read the reviews on the other pairs of fluffy handcuffs I put in the similar products section of this review. These cuffs aren't particularly worth traveling all over the internet to find another pair at another store. The pink ones I linked down there look exactly the same as these down to the key design so I reckon they're probably the same pair, just with different packaging.
