The Love Cuffs by NMC Ltd. are simple hand cuffs with a lock, key, and a safety release. They are great for fun role playing situations in the bedroom. You could be playing naughty and need to get locked up or spanked, you could be playing bad-guy good-guy and see who can lock who up first, you could play cops and robbers... really the options for role play are endless.

These cuffs could be used for girl-guy, girl-girl, guy-guy, or solo if you can reach the emergency unlocking piece. They are a good, soft way to ease into some more rougher kink in the bedroom. I recommend them for more beginner use, since they are fluffy pink (hard to take seriously) and very basic.

The design of the actual cuffs are pretty much just typical hand cuffs with a safety latch. They are lightweight and small. The metal is not as heavy as a standard pair of hand cuffs. The cuffs work by the teeth winding into the wheel of the cuff. They latch in to accommodate various sizing. They fit small to medium size wrists.

Each cuff has a key hole to release the cuffs and a safety latch in case you need to come undone without the keys. This is great in case you lose the keys or are stuck in a sticky situation. But I can see the safety latch being both a pro and a con for some people. The cuffs are connected by 3 fairly sturdy links. The chain links are silver just like the cuffs.

What makes these different from typical cuffs, is the fuzzy pink fluffy sleeve on each cuff. The pink fluffy stuff is soft and does tend to shed easily. The pink sleeve is just slipped on top of the cuff, so technically you could take them off if they were bothersome or got in the way. I do like the fluffy stuff though since it is more comfortable and I don't have to worry about the cuffs digging into my skin or cutting me. It also keeps the metal part of the cuffs that much looser. That being said, I think there are probably better cuffs out there with more high quality padding, and more comfortable than these.

These cuffs are more sturdy compared to rope or silk - that you could slip out of easily. The links are not welded together, so if you really put some effort into it, they could break off. The cuffs themselves are pretty sturdy and I don't see how you could break them. They work well for light use.

I do like these cuffs for light play. They are fairly comfortable and easy to use. They fit on both mine and my partners wrist. I would say we both have average wrist sizes (guy and girl). I like using these cuffs, and I feel more safe with the emergency latch. Beyond using them in the bedroom, you could get creative and use these for other things. Like if you wanted to hang something from them in the garage, or link a bunch of cuffs together as art!

The cuffs and the keys are made of metal. There is a possibility of rust and deterioration. So if these do come into contact with water, just wipe them down right away. Never let water sit on them.

The fluffy pink faux fur can easily be hand washed and drip dried. They just slip right off the cuffs, and can be slipped back on once they are clean.

I store these in my costume box in the original box packaging. This way when I feel like dressing up, we can pull these out as well and make a game of it.

The cuffs come in is a simple black box that could be hung on a store display because of the top puncture hole. It is not discreet. The box has the following phrases on it: “seduce and arouse” “fun for couples” “fantasy world” “Da Cuffs” “Rise of the Wild Couple” “Fur Cuffs” “It’s Groovy” “Close your Eyes”. It is a little tacky, but what else are you supposed to put on a cuffs box?

These cuffs were fun to play around with. We used them to latch our hands together (the front is more comfortable than the back) and we latched my wrist to the bed post. These would make a fun gag gift, a bachelorette gift or similar. We liked these cuffs enough and if we continue to have fun with them, we will consider getting a higher quality, more cushioned pair.
