Deluxe door jam cuffs by Sportsheets - review by Brandon

When it comes to finding new toys and products in the bedroom, my wife and I normally do not lean towards bondage gear. With that being said, we have been experimenting a little more that usual. The last product we picked up was the Door Jam Sex Sling by Sportsheets. If you have read my last review, you would quickly understand how much my wife and I love this product! Because of this, when I came across the Deluxe Door Jam Cuffs from Sportsheets, I knew I had to have them! I was very excited to see them considering how much my wife and I love the Sportsheets brand.

When I first opened the box from EdenFantasys, I got a little nervous because I really hoped that they would be as great as the Door Jam Sex Sling. From a quick glimpse, I realized that the materials were the same in both products! I then took a quick sigh of relief and took the items out of the plastic packaging. This Deluxe kit took a good product in the Door Jam Cuffs and supersized it to four adjustable door straps and cuffs! The four straps are made of high quality nylon; the same material as in the Door Jam Sex Sling. They are very durable, but at the same time, very soft to the touch. The straps can be adjusted from about 7 inches to around 14 inches so they can be adjusted to find the right fit for you and your partner regardless of height. At the end of each strap, one would find strong plastic tubing that is about 3 inches long and has rubber stoppers on each end. The straps are created in a way that no installation is required. To use these cuffs, it is as simple as slipping them over and under your door so that was nice!
Now on the other end of the four straps are the actual cuffs. They all attach to the door straps with strong metal D rings and quick clips. The cuffs are very soft to the touch and should be attached to the ankles and wrists. They are made with a black neoprene and faux fur material. The great thing about these cuffs is that they are very comfortable to wear and do not “dig” into your skin because they are easily adjustable by the Velcro on the outside of the cuffs.

When it came to actually using the door cuffs, I have to say that they fell a little short of my expectations. I guess my wife and I were somewhat spoiled with the Door Jam Sex Sling. With that being said, I still feel that this is a great product. First off, the cuffs really are soft but yet durable enough to last for a very long time. Another neat feature is that the wrist and ankle cuffs can be used with or without the door straps as they can be attached to one another! The only problem that occurred for us was using the ankle attachments. Placing the wrist straps over the door was no problem as they slid over the door and was attached very securely. The ankle straps on the other hand, could not be used with most of our doors in the home. The problem is that most of our doors have about a 1-½ gap from the floor. That gap is too great from the plastic tubing that is supposed to hold the straps in place. To be honest, that was a pretty big let down for us. I am sure this would not be the case for most as I know the gaps between our doors and floor are greater that average.

Anytime we travel, we take the Deluxe Door Jam Cuffs with us. They are really nice to use for a change of pace away from the norm. I know that there is a lot of cuff sets out there, but none stand a chance against these. There is something totally different when you take it out of the bed and move it to a door! Having the ability to stand while being restrained adds spice to any situation. When it comes to the Deluxe Door Jam Cuffs, the only limitations are yourself and your thoughts! The sky truly is the limit and your imagination will take you places like no other. We have gotten a lot of pleasure and use out of them, but I just wish we could just use them at home and not only on travel! Regardless, this is a very fun and unique product that creates extraordinary experiences out of the ordinary. Sportsheets has left us speechless and all I can say is that I look forward to what they bring in the future!

Also I found that using a blindfold could really put this product over the top!
