Don't move, oh wait you can't

The most obvious and practically only use for these cuffs is for being used in bondage play. They are too small for thigh restraints and too large for wrist restraints. This means they are only good for ankle cuffs and no others. When paired with a tether or rope they become an important part of a bondage system.

The sizing allows for use on the average male to plus sized individuals as well. Couples will enjoy the feeling of giving ones control over themselves to a partner they trust. They are easy to put on and easy to take off. This allows The product to be suitable for beginners. The strength and durability of the leather combined with solid buckle and D-ring make it suitable for more advanced users as well.

The high quality is somewhat simple design of the Spartacus large ankle cuffs serve their purpose very well. The leather is soft and supple, yet strong enough to withstand heavier "play" and pulling. The cuff is made up of two layers of garment quality layers held together with heavy duty stitching. These strips of leather measure 2" wide and just shy of 13 1/2" long.

A securing belt is attached to the outside layer with a total of ten rivets, so not much chance of them coming apart. This securing belt measures 14 3/4" long and 1" wide. Attached to the securing belt is the buckle, hold down bar, and a heavy duty D-ring. Thought the buckle is not the strongest one I have seen and does not have a locking mechanism, it is still capable of doing its job well enough.

We only use the second notch from the end which means there are three more notches larger. They can be adjusted in 3/4" increments from a 10 1/4" circumference to 13 1/4" circumference.

These cuffs were a great addition to our bedroom fun. I most likely could have gotten away with using the standard size, but purchased the large ones just in case. They held strong and securely restrained my wife without causing her any great discomfort. She enjoys feeling completely immobilized and these did the trick when paired with a tether.

The applications for a product such as this are very limited. These ankle restraint could be used as a wrist restraint if you had extremely large wrist, but for most anyone they will not work elsewhere. If you have a very small neck it could be used as a collar. One last use could be as a strap to slap your partners backside with.

As with all real leather product these cuffs need special care. To wash use a damp cloth and mild soap or leather cleaner. Don not soak or submerge leather as this will ruin it. Do not air dry, instead pat dry thoroughly. If you leave leather products to air dry they will become brittle and crack or break.

If you find you leather restraint set becoming dry or starting to crack you may want to invest in a leather conditioner. This will help renew the look and feel of the cuffs. It will also help prolong the life of the restraints.

These leather restraints are easy to store. Keep them in a dresser drawer or nightstand or hang them in the closet. If you own a toy chest you may also keep them stored there. I keep them attached to my tethers and when not being used they are kept under my mattress, out of sight of my 5 year old.

I recently purchase a complete bondage set for my wife. She really enjoys being restrained and we did not have the equipment needed to fully enjoy the experience. These ankle cuffs are a great compliment to the wrist cuffs, blindfold, and tethers. With these items I have created a sort of under the bed restraint system.
