These have got to be the absolute prettiest cuffs I've ever seen. The ruffled edging and satin bows make these cuffs the perfect combination of classy and sexy. The cuffs are perfect for light restraint of a partner to give the feeling of being restrained, but they are easily removed or escaped from, making then ideal for beginners or those into very light bondage.
The cuffs are very comfortable and are made of a very nice looking faux leather. The material does not particularly resemble genuine leather, but it does not look like cheap vinyl or leather either. It looks just like what it is: a high quality leather substitute. The cuffs are connected by two thin chains, which are made of a dark metal. These cuffs do not pinch or chafe the skin. The chains are connected via delicate D rings to the cuffs themselves. You certainly do not get the sense that you could struggle much in these cuffs, for fear of breaking the chain (cue the Fleetwood Mac song?). The chains can be fully removed from the cuffs however, so you could easily detach one and wear it as a bracelet if you wanted.
You can adjust these cuffs two ways for a wider range of wrist sizes. There are three snaps for the first level of adjustment, and there is also a buckle, similar to a belt, for further size adjustment. I have uncommonly small wrists and I found that the tightest setting on both the buckles and the snaps fit me snugly. They will fit a range of sizes, but they may not work for larger wrists, but when measured, they seem as though they would fit wrists up to 9-1/2" in circumference. They also fit my ankles, which are 8" around.
They come in a very pretty pink and black box. The box has an inner drawer that pulls out via a loop on the front, and the cuffs are contained within the drawer. The box is relatively compact and could be used for storage of the cuffs to prevent them from becoming damaged. I have a pretty small night stand and these fit in the drawer nicely with room for other toys.
Due to their faux leather construction, these cuffs are suitable for vegetarians and vegans and can be cleaned by wiping down with warm water and a mild soap. I am unsure exactly what type of metal the chain is constructed out of, but to be safe I would suggest not getting it wet to prevent rusting.

The chain is just standard inexpensive necklace chain like you could buy at a craft store. It's fine to get it wet....you just want to make sure you let it air dry. The chain has a coating on it so it won't rust easily.
