I have been being restrained with all manner of things for the past 8 years, so when I ordered these it was not with restraint in mind. I ordered them for the actual cuff part to wear as jewelry and maybe for use in a photo shoot somewhere down the line.

I was impressed with what I received. I tried them out by myself with tugging once I had them on. Fairly sturdy for cuffs that are more decorative than substance.

These would actually be perfect starter cuffs for a couple. The chains can take a medium amount of tugging. Obviously something like this wouldn't work for rougher play. They are highly adjustable, so they really are probably close to a one size fits all. The snaps also give the wearer a sense of safety that they can remove them alone which I know is important to many people when they are starting out with bondage.

While they are still not something I would use with my current partners, I will definitely be keeping these around if I find a newbie to play with.

Design: These are adorable. I love the matte finish of the black pleather with the adorable ruffles. The chains are two different lengths which would look awesome in photography. The chains also have two tiny little pink bows which can be easily removed (but probably not put back on once removed) if that isn't your speed.

Craftsmanship: These are better quality than what I have seen in many sex toy shops while they are still very unintimidating. They aren't going to hold up to rough play or any real struggle, but they will hold together for a long time if treated nicely.

Material: Website lists that it is faux leather. It feels fairly thick and substantial. Remember, faux leather is only water resistant, so wipe with a damp cloth, don't fully submerge in water if you can help it. That means that this really can't be 100% sanitized in boiling water. You could wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution.

Size: Very adjustable. There are three snaps and a buckle to make these fit appropriately.

These will work for people wanting to dabble in bondage or those who are just starting out. I would highly recommend these for a couple looking to experiment a little. The snaps will offer the security of being able to remove them easily with out feeling trapped, and the reasonable amount of sturdiness will give the feeling of being restrained.

Because the chain can be unhooked from both cuffs, these make fantastic jewelry, or you can swap to a sturdier chain if it has hooks.

I think the packaging really sells these if you are thinking about getting them as a gift for someone.

The packaging isn't super discreet as it says right no top "good girl bad girl cuffs", but it is a great way to store them as it seems like a pretty sturdy box.
