This product came with an eye mask and breathable gag, which are definately for beginners. These offer a little extra in sensory play or in light bondage play. The breathable hole in the gag was ideal for me because this is my first gag and was unsure how well a real BALL gag would work for me. It does have a few good aspects and a few downfalls. The material of the gag is extremely resistant to tugging, biting, pulling, and adjusting which is nice for those heavy players. The eye mask did block out most of the light, which is better for beginners and those who don't want to be in complete darkness. If you are looking for an eye mask that has complete coverage for more intense sensory play, this one isn't for you. It does look sexy when wearing, and the little "o-ring" mouth gag does offer a little originality when compared to the traditional ball gag.

Both products in this pack are made of silicone which is a 10 on the material safety scale. Also this material is made to withstand extended friction and force. When I pulled them out of the box I noticed no smell, and only a light taste when the mouth gag was in place. The silicone eye mask and gag straps material is comfortable against your skin. It is soft and giving to the naturals curves of your face and head. The material does catch on your hair and can pull and cause breakage. This is the first thing I noticed, because although I'm having fun in the moment, I want to have hair after! The silicone is made to repel dirt and bacteria, but can be sanitized before and/or after use by boiling for three minutes or throwing them into the top rack of your dishwasher. I love the convenience and ease of this. No MESS no FUSS! And if you feel it is necessary, as with all silicone made toys, only water and water based lubricants can be used on these.

The eye mask and open mouth gag straps are 1/2" wide, which seemed thin but were found to be sturdy and withstand twisting, pulling, and tugging. The eye mask can be adjusted to fit at up to almost 24" around. The gag will adjust about to about 20", and is situated on the lower part of your head which is usually smaller around, but it will feel VERY snug. The "O-ring" is about 1 1/2" in diameter and seems small when you look at it, but when wearing was a comfortable size. Someone with a larger mouth may want to find one that is a bit bigger to have it fit comfortably and work well for its intended purpose. These are made to adjust to accomadate relatively any sized head. The snap closures on the eye mask and open mouth ball gag are genius! They can be snapped open and closed for easy on and off, if being used on the same head, with no adjusting or re-adjusting. But if your are using these on different sized heads, they are easily adjusted by pulling and sliding the straps back and forth through the snaps. They also stay taught and in position while in use, which is a necessity.

The "O-ring" is placed inside your mouth, and is unique in that you are able to breathe while it is in place, but are still unable to close your mouth completely or talk. Wearing the ring gag causes a MASSIVE amount of salivating and drooling, which I found to be less desirable and messy during play. Biting the ring seemed more comfortable to me, and withstood against teeth marks. When I bought this I was hoping the ring would stretch so that my boyfriend could place his penis inside while I was wearing but, the ring is NOT stretchy nor big enough to place an average size to larger penis inside. While wearing I noticed I could not adjust the size, and I couldn't keep the eye mask flush to my face. The bottom part of the eye covering kept lifting a bit, letting me partially see out the bottom. This happening, kind of defeated the purpose of wearing it, so that was frustrating for me.

These worked OK for me. I'm inexperienced with gags and blindfolds so I wanted to start out with an open mouth gag. I was hoping for complete coverage when it came to the eye mask, so this product didn't work that well for me. The eye coverings kept lifting and needed constant pulling back down to get complete eye coverage which was very annoying during our hot play. I liked the silicone material on my skin but next time I think I will go with leather or more plush material. The open mouth ball gag did its job at keeping my mouth restrained while letting me breathe freely which I did enjoy. I've read some reviews of those having problems with the O-ring turning in their mouths but I didn't have this problem. I kept a firm grip on the ring by biting onto it most of the time. The O-ring also allowed INTENSE amounts of drool to come out which some may find attractive (which my boyfriend did) but for me, the wearer, it got a little messy and out of control. Also, I expected the O-ring to stretch to allow "forced" oral sex but it didn't which was a HUGE disappointment to me.

Care and maintenance for this set is simple and easy! The silicone is made to repel dirt and bacteria and will not stain, but if you feel it needs it, then it can be boiled for three minutes or thrown into the top rack of your dishwasher. Keeping them in baggies will help keep them safe.

The eye mask and mouth gag came in a resealable package. It is a white, small box with a mannequin head wearing the eye mask and gag. It can be used to store in and travel with. Each piece came individually in small zip lock stlye baggies. There are details and instructions located on the back side of the box.
