Tether - cuffs by Sportsheets - review by mpfm

Sportsheets offers these black nylon tethers for fun bondage play. Add a set of cuffs, and these can be used in a multiple of ways. Loop them around bedposts, charis, tables, or other furniture. They can be used to extend other bondage systems such as Sportsheets Under the Bed Restraint System. With a bit of imagination these can be used for just about any bondage needs. We have even used them with our Liberator positional pillows.

The tethers are inexpensive and are packaged two to a box. They do not include cuffs so be sure you have a pair available. The tethers measure 48 inches from snap hook to snap hook. It is adjustable via a plastic buckle. It can be minimized as low as 2.5 inches. That makes them very versatile.

They are one inch wide which is the same width as the Under the Bed Restraint System. The nylon is not scratchy or itchy, and is very easy to use. It is strong and durable and should last a very long time.

At each end is a D ring and snap hook. the D-ring is similar to a key chain. It can be opened and the snap hooks could be replaced with something else if desired. The snap hooks are easy to control. They open and close easily, but also stay closed when in use. They are not extrememly heavy duty. They are the type of hook you might expect attached to a backpack. They are fine for our uses. Heavy bondage players might like to replace them with a stronger hook.

They can be used with lots of different types of cuffs. Any cuff that can be attached to the snap hook will be fine.

The tethers are easy to clean and store. They can be washed with soap and water or even thrown in the washing machine. They don't take up too much space. Storage in a drawer or wherever you keep your bondage gear is fine. Actually they would probably be fine stored under the mattress.

We originally bought these to externd our Under the Bed Restraint System. They work well for that, but we are discovering lots of other uses for them. They are a great product that would be handy for any bondage enthusiast. We plan on buying another set for even more possibilities.
