Dual lock handcuffs by Spartacus - review by SMichelle

This product could, essentially, be used by anyone. That being said, I don't recommend this product for beginners. These cuffs are locking, meaning that there's no safety latch; you're going to need the key to get out of them. I think that beginners would do best using cuffs with a safety latch, at least when they're first getting started exploring the world of kink. Other than that, I think that these cuffs could be used by anyone who enjoys bondage and has a trustworthy partner to play with. These are NOT cuffs that you're going to want alone due to the locking feature.

Now, what are these cuffs for?
Well, they're for restraining your wrists, but some people might be able to use them on their ankles, too. I, personally, was not able to use them on my ankles; my ankles are thin, but they were still too thick for these cuffs.

I love to have my hands cuffed behind my back, and these work perfectly for that purpose. You can also have your partner handcuff you to something else, though, like the bedpost.

These handcuffs are very well made, and they look extremely elegant. The cuffs are made out some type of metal, and they feel very sturdy. They also feel very cool to the touch, but that's to be expected. As these cuffs are metal, you can expect for them to leave little marks on your wrist if you struggle. Also, there's no padding, so you might experience some discomfort, too.

The cuffs are adjustable, and I believe that they should fit most people just fine. I have small wrists, and I can get them to fit nice and tight on me. My partner has larger wrists, and he was able to get them to fit properly on him, too.

These are dual locking cuffs, so they're not for beginners. The dual locking feature makes it so that the person being restrained cannot get out of them without the key. It also makes it so that the cuffs do not tighten too much on the persons wrists, which is a great feature!

I feel like the cuffs themselves will last for years, but the paint might chip off of them. In fact, I had some paint chip off of them during use awhile back. To be fair, I wasn't being particularly gentle with the cuffs, and the area that the paint chipped off of is just a tiny little dot. Really, you can hardly tell that the paint chipped off at all. Still, it is worth noting that this can happen.

I really love these cuffs, as I felt like they were very secure. I also felt like they looked extremely sexy; much sexier than those standard silvery colored sets available.

I've worn these during some intense sessions. They've held up very well, with the exception of some very, very minor chipping of the paint.

It should be noted that these cuffs did get a little uncomfortable after awhile. Particularly, they were uncomfortable when my partner tried to place me on my back with my hands also cuffed behind my back. That's not really surprising, though.

Please, only use these cuffs with a partner that you know and trust. These cuffs are very strong, and there is no safety release. This means that there's no way to get out of them unless your partner lets you out! Be safe, please.

I purchased these handcuffs when I was looking to take things to the next level with my partner. He and I had cheap cuffs with a safety latch before, but I really wanted to feel like he had total control. I also wanted something that looked sleek and elegant, and these black handcuffs fit the bill.

These held up amazingly during even our roughest of play sessions, and I really loved how secure they were. They did hurt my wrist after awhile, but that's to be expected with metal cuffs.

My only complaint about these is that the finish chipped in one area, but they still look good.
