The Perfect Gift Rose is a great little gift set to help set the mood for a special occasion or as a surprise for that special someone in your life. This kit has everything you need to turn your regular night into a romantic experience!

Included in this kit are several items that can be used all together for a super sensual night, or individually. They include:

Silicone Bendable Vibrating Rose - This rose can be used both internally and externally to stimulate you and/or your partner. This works great as a teasing toy by gently gliding it over your partner's most sensitive areas, but can be used as a solo toy as well. The sweet rose bud is a decent size, and thanks to its tapered end is very easy to insert vaginally or anally. Not only can this toy bend to help reach all the right places, but it's waterproof! Taking it in the shower or tub is no problem and makes cleaning it a breeze!

Lubricant - This chocolate flavored, water-based lubricant is safe to use with your vibrating rose but also is an excellent addition to oral play. Bendable Rose - The toy is made from two different materials; plastic and silicone. Plastic rates an 8/10 on the Eden material safety scale, is made from food-grade material, and is hypo-allergenic, non-porous, latex free, and phthalates free. It's a rigid material that makes up the base of the rose, where the batteries are inserted, and where the power button is. No part of the plastic is insertable, only the silicone is.

Silicone rates a 10/10 and is one of the safest materials you can get! It's also made from food-grade material, is hypo-allergenic, non-porous, latex free, and phthalates free. The material has a velvety feel to it which has a small amount of drag (but is easily fixed with a small amount of water based lubricant), and also picks up quite a bit of lint. Though you can see slight impressions to help make the bud look more realistic, it isn't felt during penetration. When you squeeze the bud, the tip is very soft, but you can feel that there's something much firmer under the silicone toward the bottom.

The green stem of the rose is very stiff at first, but bends and stays in place well, even during use. You can easily change the way the stem is bent, whether or not it's inserted at the time. Curve the stem for more direct g-spot play, or keep it straight. The stem doesn't 'wilt' from the weight of the bud and remains straight until you bend it.

This toy is only compatible with water based lubricant, and should be kept away from toys made from similar materials since they don't play well together. The rose can be cleaned using antibacterial soap and warm water or your favorite toy cleaner.

Lubricant - The included lubricant is a chocolate flavored, water based lube from System Jo. The lube is slightly thicker than a lot of water based lubricants, but will run easily if not rubbed in right away. It comes out easily when you squeeze the bottle, but doesn't leak from it. The lubricant feels very slick and smooth when first applied and absorbs well into the skin, but does leave a tacky feeling as it dries. When it's time to clean up, this lube is easily wiped away with a wipe and rinses from hands easily.

Tea Lights - These lights are made from plastic and are totally firm. There's no give to any part of them, including the 'flame'. The base is white and the flames are clear. When turned on, the little flames glow yellow.

Silk Ties - Though these are called silk ties, they certainly aren't made from silk! One side has a shiny, silky look and feel to them, but the other side is more matte looking and, though it still is silky, it's not as much as the shiny side.

If necessary, these can be hand washed and hung to dry. I wouldn't recommend putting them in the washing machine, since the material probably isn't strong enough for that. These can easily be folded up and placed in a small bag to prevent the material from snagging during storage.

Petals - The petals are made from a somewhat sheer red fabric, but are fairly firm. The fabric must have had some type of stiffening product applied to it. This makes them rough feeling, but should prevent the material from fraying. A sandwich bag will fit all the petals comfortably inside.

Lubricant - This chocolate lubricant smells as though it's actually scented bubbles, not a sensual product. The scent is quite strong when you first open the bottle, but isn't as obvious when it's in use. Don't expect this to smell like you have a brownie in front of you. It's very artificial in both smell and taste. The taste is okay in small portions, but the urge to just eat this stuff is not likely to happen. It might enhance your oral play if you're not fond of that experience, but it might not be something you care to use all the time. Artificial chocolate is just plain disappointing!

There was no foul smell to the rest of the items, and only a 'new' smell to the vibrating rose.

Bendable Rose - The vibrating rose is powered by 2 AAA batteries which aren't included. The base of the toy is where the batteries are inserted. Simply open the compartment, insert the batteries as directed, and replace the cap. Once the cap is on, you're good to go.

On the center of the battery cap, there's a round, black button. This is the only button on the toy and turns the toy on, controls the vibrations, and turns the toy off. There are 7 different vibration patterns to choose from; some are steady while others are pulsating. When you're ready to turn the toy off, hold down the power button for a few seconds and it will turn off. When you turn the toy back on, you start at the first vibration pattern; it doesn't hold your place.

The patterns are:
1) Low constant
2) Medium constant
3) High constant
4) Two short pulses, one long pulse
5) Four quick pulses, one long pulse
6) One long pulse, four quick and short pulses
7) Long, high pulses that repeat

The vibrations are best suited for someone who is more sensitive, since the power isn't super strong. Because the toy isn't overly strong, it works best as a teasing toy or a warm up option. The good thing about the vibrations being on the weaker side: it's very quiet! Even on the highest setting it could barely be heard from under the covers.

Lubricant - This lube lasts a good amount of time, and works well as an oral sex aid. Start off with a dime sized amount and add more if needed. After several minutes, you might feel the need to reapply, but that depends on what you're using it for and for how long. The lube feels like it stays slick longer when used with a toy, but needs a little more for oral play.

There's a little bit of a tacky, sticky feeling when it begins to dry. This can be slightly annoying, but adding a little more lube fixes the problem. When it's time to clean up, there's no need to shower unless you want to. Cleaning up with a wipe and simply washing off hands and toys does the trick just fine.

Tea Lights - The tea lights are each powered by a single lithium cell battery that's already in place and ready to use. When you flip the tea light over, you'll see a little tab that opens the battery compartment. When it's time to replace your battery, that's where you'll find it. Next to that tab is a small, black switch. This is what turns the lights on and off. Use a single one or all four: either way, they light the way to a sensual evening with that someone you love.

Silk Ties - The ties don't block out all light when used as a blindfold, but do prevent the person from seeing specifically what you're doing. When used as a restraint, they can become untied if you're struggling a lot, but are a great option for lighter play.

This set comes in a very thin, cardboard box that has a shiny red exterior. Around the center of the box is a red bow that holds a card on the front that gives you a run down of what the set contains, as well as full color images of the products. The card is easily removed, making it a great gift option since there's no obvious markings on the box that give away exactly what it contains.

The bottom of the box has a little information about Evolved Novelties and some information that makes it a little less discreet. Anything that says that it should be used as an adult novelty kind of makes it obvious that the box contains an adult toy.

While the box looks like a nice gift with the cute red bow and attractive coloring, it doesn't work great for storage. The box is very thin, making it easy to tear. The receiver of the gift can easily break down the box and dispose of it as they see fit.

The box is discreet enough for travel, and isn't too large that it would draw a lot of attention if kept in a suitcase before your romantic getaway.
